Hey, Im staying in the Bastok region currently. Which guild would you suggest to start there? Im thinking of Goldsmithing, so thats what Im going to try. What do you guys think?

i would take something cheap like woodworking to 50 then use the profits from that to get goldsmithing up. Goldsmithing is like the most expensive one to start to level.

it really depends if you love goldsmithing then do it^^ well.......you don't have to be rich to start out.... like 1 year ago i started with so less gil but i was able to reach to level 33 and at this point i can make gil but yes if you start right away its good to have gil cuz if you don't it'll take a while to get to 20(the start of making some gil....not a whole lot though)

It actually depends on what you want to do, what you feel you need, and it won't hurt to ask what your LS needs. If your in a helpful LS, who you can ask for crafts and stuff, it makes no sense to have 3 Alchemists or 2 Goldsmithers if one can go bonecraft or something (Scorpion Harness...mmmmm...) Also, whichever one you can afford at first is a wise thought too. Cooking is pretty good becase it's (for the most part) pretty cheap, and you won't have to pay no damn 35K for a stack of sushi. Goldsmith is a real money maker at higher levels, but expect to pay a few hundred thousand gil before you see any real profit

j5689 You can be a part of all of them. not realy, you can choose one to start off with, then you must do i beleve quest to get the others, you can only choose one to start with, i would choose cooking, im a gold smith, wich o choose by acciden't, althoe i may love it it's a realy slow process.
