That's unexpected! Who would've thought those squishy golden cakes and frothy cream would hide animal products? I never liked Twinkies and I wouldn't eat that kind of high calorie sugar junk anyways, but it just shows that you can't be too careful.

there are vegan DIY recipes, doubt they're much healthier, but yeah. my sister used to NOM on them before we found out she has celiac's.
I always found them creepy looking with their cream and all...
