think about it when some of you were coming out. was there somebody you looked up to, who could show you the ropes. somebody who said to you "homosexuality is normal" ? well i didn't, thats why that part of my life plays a big part in who i am today. if your one of the lucky ones then thank that person. this world is run by a heterosexual majority and that is really hard for some of us to rise above, to show that your more then just homosexual. so please reach out to a struggling person, someone who is scared of coming out, who isnt sure who is out there to catch them when they fall. i would have loved the person who was there for me. to hold my hand, and lead me through the darkness and into the truth that is me. even if they are not homosexual, there is nothing wrong with raising a straight child saying that homosexuality is ok and normal. all your doing is raising a heterosexual child that is not homophobic.

I certainly wish I had someone right now...I'm bi and I came out to all my friends already, but I haven't come out to my parents yet...most of my friends don't know I'm gender queer either. Do you think I should come out to my parents now? Or should I wait?

I think so...I'm just not sure how to go about it...they're kind of homophobic and 'don't believe in' bi...
