On this dark and dismal night...
when every thing feels right
i look up to see its only flaw... the stars they're not there at all...

So i stand here and wait for the moon
hoping to see her wishing it soon
then out of the corner of my eye
A solitary star appears in the sky

sitting alone it glistens there
I know how it feels when no one else cares
Your shining above me
while i stand below
Can you see me watching do you know?

Were alone in the same respect
For such a small star you sure have a big effect
and know i know it im alone
and i feel it run threw me from my flesh to my bones
and i stand there waiting for you...
dont let my heart turn to stone...
