Russ Kwehmoore Russ discreetly slips to Lariene's side. He realizes she seems to be spacing out, but he knows she will hear him when he speaks.
"If it makes you feel better, Leader." He starts. "I took the initiative of sending scouts on front, rear, and our flanks. If there is a surprise waiting for us, we will be warned for sure. Keep a sharp ear for wolf howls." He flashes to Lariene a reassuring smile. She smiled and nodded to him as she continued walking. "Thank you sir. I'm glad that I could count on you during this time. What be thy name?" She stopped for a moment and walked over to one of plants noticing a rouge liquid on it's leaves. She touched it gently with her fingers and studdied it. "It's human blood.. fresh no less.. She stood up and glanced around. I don't know what is out there.. It's scent is dreadfully bitter." She looked towards the man she had spoke to ealier and notice he was speaking of zombies. "It could be zombies.. I have yet to remember what it was like to be one..." She flicked the blood off of her fingers and continued walking down the forest path. Something was lerking in the night but what it was, she could not tell. Soon a small fog had arrived thier way. It was thick and had a horrible scent. "Stay close to those you are with. It is indeed a trap.."

Keifie's spirits lifted even more as the prospect of battle approached. He listened to the people talk about what their stalkers might be and felt the death rising in the air. He took a moment and concentrated on the harmonious tunes the departed made upon Helstream, and, from their sorrow, pinpointed the nature and wearabouts of the enemy, although he elected not to share this bit of information with the party as they seemed to be fixated in their own means of detection and preparation. His face molded into a sly grin and, by the time the mist had come, his eyes shown a bright, blood red in the lighting.

Kaliea walked at a steady pace down a tough terrained mountain while letting hre sensed guide her. She could tell there was smoke somewhere over the the noth west. That ment shelter. Mabe even a town! She continued at a faster pace with her stomache grubleing. She had traveled a long distance from the south where she had first set off on her journey of finding new fighting styles. She would bring back home much information. As she came closer she spotted a large group of people moving. She stayed silent and closed in upon them, not knowing the territory here well. It was to dark to look at her map and she could only tell that she must of been close to a town called "Barton". "Well this might actually be a good change to practice and test my skills on people..." she thought and decided to see how close she could get without being spotted even though this wasnt her profession as ninjas or rouges.

Jamie jumped upright, something was wrong, the weather was different and it was dark "Whats going on?" Jamie wondered "It seems like we was all put to sleep" He walks towards the other warriors and makes sure he wakes them up.

"Ahh, that was a good meal kind sir, i thank you for your kindness!" says Obsydian as he stood up from the emptied table from where he ate his much-needed meal.
right before his hand reaches the door, a sudden wave of dark magic engulfs him, as if tring to make him weak and force him to sleep...
"what is this sorcery! pah, such parlor tricks cannot make me cower!"
just as he was about to unleash a Purifying spell, the unknown spell that tried to make him sleep, as sudden as it came it dissipated also just as suddenly...
"what? this is madness! what on earth could have... but its impossible...! a spell of such magnitude could not have dissipted as quickly and as efficiently as that! unless..."
as he looked around him, all of the pople inside the tavern had gone to sleep!
"what the... the adventurers! what could have happened to them!"
and with that, he dashed outside the tavern, hoping that the small band of adventurers have not fallen prey to the spell...

But as i see it... i think im pretty good. i guess. i mean, ive been training ever since i was born. i was just trying to meet sum pplz. u know get to know them better. and i guess... i need sum friends. i've never meet people my age before, nor even pplz close to my age. the only person i know, as of now, is my master, who isnt really my master anymore. i just finished training and i rushed to get home and THIS was here. this was the greatest oppertunity of my life. i guess that pretty much answers your question. so... tell me a little about yourself..." chris thinks to himself... i think ive found a friend. hmmm. friend. im not even sure what a friend is supposed to do. i guess... just be with each other. look out for each other? christ pondered these questions carefully while awaiting a reply from his new found "friend"

Russ shakes his head as he was awakened by Jamie. He gives Jamie a nod of gratitude as he stands up; then massages his head a bit. His head hurt from what seems to be a sleeping spell. He just got reminded he isn't really strong against it.
He looks around. Everyone seems to be fine. "How long were we asleep?" He thinks to himself as he joins Jamie in waking up the others.
