Kakusuhime Onnako Ipo2398 Kakusuhime Onnako Gotta love foreign music. I practically live on J-Pop, J-Rock, J-Rap, anime theme songs, anime character songs, anime instumentals... dramallama
But I listen to almost everything. I attempt to avoid American pop music (because all the songs basically sound the same to me) and rap (because it almost always degrades some group of people...).
Of course, not all anime songs are Japanese...I mean, sometimes they have English, but there are those songs in other languages (Like, "A Song of Storm and Fire" from Tsubasa Chronicles. NO ONE knows what language that song is in).
It's also really cool how the list keeps growing...isn't there basically different music for each part of the world??? But, then again, there are a lot more countries and styles that I don't think have been named...but that's just me. I can't possibly name everything; that's why we have The List (which WILL REMAIN CAPITALIZED)! I'm glad you approve of The List. And I wish I knew what language that damn song was in. It's driving me nuts!I swear that every month someone on Gendou's thinks that they have the correct lyrics (yarou...), and since it's always changing, it's virtually impossible to figure out what language the damn song's in!
*growls*
I'm going on Google. Update: The lyrics on Gendou's have been locked. And it doesn't say "Cantare Espada" anymore...

Recently, I've been listening to some stuff from Brazil and will soon get some stuff from Chile. smile
As for Japanese stuff, I am not getting anymore of it. I'm quite happy with what I have.

What about adding a category called Scandinavian, that's Danish, Norweigan and Swedish music combined? (And perhaps, Finnish and Icelandic music as well) I can see why the Danish and Norweigan music scene is not big enough to a category of it's own, but combined I think it's a pretty good size.
Besides, our music scenes are pretty close to one another at severeal points (:

I used to watch the International Music Feed all the time before they took it off the air. It used to show music videos from around the world.
