My beloved KiKi kitty found the doggy door and now she's lost. I don't think she's coming back either and i am beyond upset. I don't know what to do. >.< T__T

She was gone about an hour. After looking she was near the train tracks. I locked her in the bedroom for now. I'm so dissappointed. I don't want to have to secure her to a single room for the rest of her life. it's not a very kind thing to do, but i loev that cat.

Well, how old is she/he? My kitten is only about 7 months. As soon as he learn't to get out the cat flap we decided that we don't need to lock him inside anymore.
Now I will destroy him.

4-5 months. We live in a heavily trafficed area. We are surrounded by railroads and tons of roads, driveways, stray dogs, and otherwise. If she got loose again, it could be very perilous. We've lost about 3 cats already through the back window. We fixed it and got a doggy door but she found her way out. I'm scared this one is going too but i love her and want to keep her. I just want to teach her that outside is a bad bad place. How to do it though...

some cats are just outside cats. my cat doesn't stray too far off before coming back. maybe she's just exploring a wee bit?

when my cat goes out i take him out on a leash. i figured it was the best way to keep track of him and allow him to go outside. i really hope that your cat is safe that you find her again soon.

I'm glad you found your kitty and that she was ok [did i read that right?]. My dogs run away a lot, but they usually come back on their own.
On a side note: HOMFG IT'S VOLLY NOWAI!!!! Where on Earth have you been? D:

Hola Volley. Well my doggy gets out all the time and I understand how stressful it is when pets go missing, I guess the only thing you can do is keep an eye on her and if she gets out go an look for her.
