It was a fine day for the Black Templar to fight. with 3 full squads, the sword breathern had sworn their oath of never faulturing in there steps helebretch had even decided to grace the field aparantly one of the lesser known chapters decided to stake claim to one of the templar territories and incured the Wrath of the templar. they marched in with a dreadnaught, a razorback, and rino to strike in quickly and avoid most of the heavy weaponry. the Champion died a noble cause ripping through one full tactical squad like there armour was made of paper, he was only felled by a full squad of terminators before killing 3 of them in a searing blaze of glory. the dreadnaught did amazing damaging soaking up 4 hunter killer missiles and he kept charging backed up with a bike squadron he destroyed a rhino and cooking all but 2 of the soldiers trapped inside the charred wreckage. It also blocked the other three vehicles from advancing, into the fray. the enemy sent in his assault marines to remove one of the advancing squad of soldiers we sustained minor casalties but killed enough of the cursed marines to make them retreat, using the furor genetrated I charged and gutted the enemies before the enemy managed to push his land raider through and sent it through a war path missing the dreadnaught by mere centimeters but it whittled down two squadrons to tiny numbers. with the luck of the dice gods and a few well placed rockets we managed to take it down. with the enemy regrouping at the other end of the field and mine in tattered shreds of it's former glory. Helebretcht gave one more rally cry and the reminents of all the squads totaling in a total 13 soldiers veresus 2 squads, 2 tanks, and his commander our troops fought bravely but in the end simple numbers overtook the years upon years of dedicated service to the emperor. the last to fall was helebretcht standing ontop of the fallen chapter master with the the rest of his soldiers laying dead around him he was mowed down by heavy bolter, and assualt cannons. but it was a good day to die..... the only remains of the enemy was 1 terminator, 1 tank, and 4 soldiers the rest were dead or retreated off the map.
