After speaking with Valelldia about the method of restoring the tellbook, DeArca was a bit unsure how he could just go up to one of the girls of the caravan and ask this strange favor of them. He held the bloodquill, turning to Ash and frowned a bit. "Do you think anyone will help? It is a bit strange asking them for something like that." He said and Ash stuck out his tongue at the thought and DeArca nodded. "You're right, I doubt we'll be able to get much help but we have to try! We'll return to Valelldia as soon as we're done!" He nodded, taking Ash's hand, making his way back to the caravan.

Rojiza is seated on the porch of her wagon, Taog perched on her knee. She smiles happily and strokes his crest, eliciting a coo from the stoic bird. She touches her nose to his beak, earning an affectionate n** for her attention. Ro giggles softly at her friend. Movement catches her eye and her gaze turns to DeArca and Ash. She waves to them and smiles, then jumps and winces as Taog pinches her hand. Evidently more attention is required.

"Hi there....come on, Ash" He asked, Ash giggling as he ran ahead, waving. He stopped immediately at her knees and then leaned on them. "Hi, lady!" he said cutely and DeArca reached. "Don't go pouncing on people, that's rude" He asked and Ash nodded, seeing a lovely bird and points. "Birdy! Fly, Birdy!!!" He asked, jumping to reach her.

Taog squawks indignantly and hops to the rail, fluffing his feathers self-importantly. Rojiza giggles at everyone's behavior.

Rojiza arches an eyebrow. What manner of favor? her squirrelly, calculating brain wants to know. She blinks a few times, inviting him to explain himself.

"Well to begin with, its about my Tellbook! The mystic item I got when I joined the caravan. Its able to answer questions that I write in it. Well, I asked it so many questions that it was overused and then began to bleed. Now its just....dead. I talked to Valelldia about restoring it and she says that there is a way to do it!" He said, showing her the Bloodquill that Valelldia handed him, the feathery pen with a razor tip. "Valelldia told me that if I write in my Tellbook with the blood of a female, there is a chance it can be restored. I was really scared to ask anyone to do this but I wanted to try. If you don't want to, I completely understand so please tell me if you don't. I don't want you to do this for me if you don't want to" He frowned some, feeling guilty to ask such from someone.

Ro plucks the Bloodquill from his fingers and looks at it, examining it carefully. She wonders how much blood is needed. The nib is all...rusty-brown. Old blood, no doubt. She shudders internally. That's gross. Still...magic things shouldn't leave a physical side-effect, right? She goes to p***k her finger, but then recoils. She can't do this to her paws...she needs those. Instead she reaches over and makes a nick in her shoulder, where the cut wouldn't stretch every time she moved. Dark liquid seeps out of it, and she tries to catch it with the quill. She hands the 'inked' quill back to him.

DeArca flinched, seeing her wound her shoulder as he reached into his pack, removing a piece of cloth and placed it against the wound. "I shouldn't have asked you to do this. Your parent will have my head for this." He frowned a bit, holding the Bloodquill tightly. "Are you alright? I can fetch cold water to numb the pain" He asked

Rojiza shakes her head, but does accept the cloth to soak up the seeping blood. Cold water to numb the pain? She feels like laughing. It's a pinprick! She shakes her head. Mother wouldn't do anything. She's done much worse on her own, climbing trees and whatnot. She's curious to see what he's going to do with the Bloodquill.

DeArca looked at his pen, slowly removing the blood-stained book from his pack as he tried opening the sticky/glued together pages which were brown and black from old blood. Once he opened it, there was nearly a fresh page as he sighed. "Let's hope I have enough blo...ink to write this" He said, slowly stroking the pen against the paper, watching it write his words with each motion.
For my Tellbook,
I cannot imagine the pain I could've caused such a wondrous item, but I also cannot express how deeply I am sorry for overusing your great power. I pray with all my heart that this apology will restore you to normal so you can once again guide me with your mysterious knowledge. Please give me another chance and I promise with the blood of this pen that I will do so much better. In the name of the Meij, I ask...beg your forgiveness....
