OH MY GAWD! i fell sooooo bad for you! i don't know what i would do if i couldn't dance! you should keep practicing the stuff you did in class so when you go back you will be just where you were when you left. doesn't your mom see that it's going to be extremely hard to leave for a year and then go back!! think of all the stuff you'll miss! oh, wait, i'm not helping am i?? just show your mom that u can get your homework done!
her mom wouldn't let her go back after junior year if homework is her concern. you get more and more work the higher your grade level. senior year is the worst, and then it sounds like her mom will want her to attend college. college is just as bad, if not worse than being a senior in high school.
she could always shoot for a college that offers a bfa in dance. then she'd have a reason to take ballet, to prepare for college, and those required ballet classes for that bfa in dance.
