Instead of making a comic I'm making a fanfiction [Like a short story] because it's easier and it doesn't take as much effort as designing visual backgrounds.

Gunshots rang through the air as a dark veil crept over the city, slowly consuming every nook and crany within its inescapable grip. For the time being everything was silent, as if premonition was about to announce itself to the world. The wind swayed, passing through everyone like invisible silk. Shady dealings and shootouts took place in the background, safe from the interference of the outside world. Ladies and gentleman, welcome to Inner City.
D. Limit leaned against a brick wall, his outfit swaying to beat of the wind and his legs figeting in paranoia and irritation. You could tell the man was growing impatient every minute he stood there waiting for someone. After all, in his line of business, you couldn't be too careful. He didn't want the responsibility of taking care of his gang, but he would have to because he promised to protect everyone. A brief memory embedded itself onto his mind as he was waiting.
Flashback
A young tanned boy and his white friend were walking alongside eachother, both having the same colored shirts on. The tanned young boy turned to his friend as they made a corner, not noticing anything out of the ordinary. Not noticing a shadow following them from behind as their minds were focused on a very important subject: Hot women.
"Psshe none of them are worth my time.." Malificent Chaos inquired to his best friend.
"Man, you really know what the ladies like, at this rate you'll neva find a girl." D. Limit responded as blunty as possible, slightly annoyed at Chaos for his typical you all suck and I'm better than you rant, but he was used to it by now.
They didn't know what hit them until it was too late. The sound of screeching tires and the sight of a car came up in front of them, a gun pointing its muzzle out the window and towards the two teenaged boys. It was only now that the other gang had confronted them, in surprisingly different uniforms than usual no less. D. Limit stood there frozen, not knowing what to do and shocked as he looked at his best friend starting to pool blood on the ground and his chest. Everything was so surreal and he couldn't have imagined for the life of him that his best friend would die so soon. Sure, they talked tough for 14 year olds', but it was talk, they never really expierienced the real thing until now. The adrenaline wore off as the car's roar faded from hearing, leaving two teenagers to fend for themselves.
"I... love you man!.... No... homo.." he caughed out blood, before slumping on the hard cement and resting his eyes.
Strickened with grief, D. Limit promised to always protect people he cared about to the best of his ability because no one should have to die this earl-! Over the years, more and more of his homies continued dieing at the hands of the opposing gang who were known to be ruthless. D. Limit became weary as the situation seemed to turn from bad to worse for his gang, but he knew he couldn't abandon everything he had fought so hard to protect... he would carry the responsibility for others to his grave. He wished he could turn back time, be ignorant of the harsh realities that life presented to him and lead a more quality life than he had, but sadly, there was no reset button, not for him, not when he had gone so far off the deep end to turn back now.
And it didn't matter that these boys were only around 14 years old. They were the enemy and they would pay a high price for it.
A deal was about to go down and he thought about why he was here. The gang leader had just died of alchohol poisoning, but he knew foulplay had been implored in killing him, but he knew that while the man he respected like a father had done more than his fair share of booze, he wouldn't have gotten as carried away as others had made him out to be. That's why he was here instead of the old man; He was appointed to become the new gang leader. 20 years ago, he wouldn't have guessed that he would be the one to lead Inter Netz.
