Neither are supposed to be classified as really...ska, to my understanding, but I've never heard Streetlight Manifesto. I assume they're a lot like Catch 22, since they basically are Catch 22, neh?
Catch 22, though, well. You'll get hit on the head by any religious skaster if you tell them that's your favorite ska band, since they're more pop-punk. But they do have a lot of ska overtones. Catch 22 is awesome, though. : ]
So, I'm guessing you'd be into third wave ska. I R SUGGEST OPERATION IVY? Piss, everyone forgets about them, and they're pretty darn cool. And what about NO DOUBT? They have some pretty cool ska tunes. O:
I also suggest Mustard Plug, The Aquabats!, Mark Foggo's Skasters ( uh, good luck finding them, I couldn't! xD ), and throw in some swing with Cherry Poppin' Daddies.
I suggest you check out all the waves, though. EXPERIMENT. ;D

Yeah, I figured Catch 22 wasn't really ska xD Like, pop ska?
HOW DID I FORGET NO DOUBT And I have Operation Ivy downloaded, I just never listen to them Same with The Aquabats :3
THANK YOU, KAI
A while ago, I had a list of a bunch of ska and punk bands Like, actual punk, not Fall Out Boy :3 bookmarked But I dunno where it is, and also, there were like, a zillion bands xD It was overwhelming going through that list

Wikipedia has a listing of ska artists from first to third wave. I find it helpful when I'm bored of what I have. : 3 And those are just the well-known guys, remember.
Catch 22 is pop-punk with a touch of ska. So they're not punk, they're not pop, and they're not ska. CONFUSING, I KNOW.
If you like your third wave ska, you might want to look at more punk ska, reggae, and rocksteady. Some CRS7, fo' sho'. That be good for the soul.
Don't forget about your stoner ska, either, ya dig? Bands like The Toasters and Sublime, yo.

BTWWW
Real punk, not shitty emo pop music you hear on the radio, is pretty effing win. In my books, anyways. I'm really into a subgenre of punk called Oi!, it's pretty kicking. I'd recommend the Oi! band Splinter.
Here's Wikipedia's massive list of punk bands, with little flags to show you where they be from. I've heard good things about the 4-Skins, and !!! is supposed to be popular-ish, huh?
I personally endorse Black Flag, Circle Jerks, anything from CRS7-related groups and whatever Tim Armstrong has a hand in. Don't forget your Capitalist Casualties and The Plasmatics, for suuuure. My dad had some awesome version of a Plasmatics record or something, but he gave it to a friend a long time ago. Wendy O. is something of a hero of mine.

Manduh Bear KAI ILU And omg I love Sublime <33 I didn't think of them, either, but they're like, my favorite band LUMOAR, SCOOBADELLA ( I just love calling you that. x'D )
I'm not a huge Sublime fan. I don't know. I have a lot of bad memories with Sublime, as with Dropkick Murphys, which is unfortunate in both cases, since both are such notable bands in the 'scene' I'm into. But bad memories with music equals not a lot of times I will want to listen to them.
Although I am fond of them both, as much as I am able to be. xD
