Also to go along with this thread a bit better I'll post some pics of my rig. Maybe that will restore the original function of the thread.

Yeah I have a shity bass, and a shity cab, but at least my head is half way decent I really like to tone, and it can get some serious lows out.

I'll get some pics of my rig up here, but right now I'm running a Brawley 5 string through a Sovtek Big Muff Pi to a Peavey tour series 700 head and a broken down Hartke 8X10 cabinet. Soon to be replaced by an Ampeg SVT 8X10.

I'll try to get pics in a few days. Right now I have a Tobias 4-strings with DR Blue strings, a SX Lined Fretless with Flats and a Douglas Six-string bass. I run each bass through a boss bass chorus pedal, Korg multi effects unit, and a boss 20XL loop station then into my Line3 LD300 Pro, a 300 watt modeling amp.

My future rig is basically the same except take my Modeling amp out of it instead I will be running it all in a rack with a Line 6 Bass PODxt pro as a Pre-amp a Crown Power amp, then to a cab. mrgreen

Lucky. stare that's a sweet set up.
@ other guy, your system seems extremly complicated, but I know my line six gear and that seems like it would be a kill rig, though I don't know any thing about korg's bass modeling systems.

Line 6 is time consuming and a little complicated, and I don't reccamend their products unless you have time to read every inch of their manuals, since The presets sucks.

Well the Korg isnt reallya modeling device, its just a multi-effects unit.

All the modeling is done through my combo amp at the moment

thats everything my amp can do, and i added wheels to it.

Oh I thought it was some thing along those lines. How is it? I know they make really good key boards, are their bass effects up to par?
