Sunlight shone bright down from the heavens upon the lands of the Ulaya, but not bright enough to make the land extreamly hot. Fair weather graced the plains and forrests, with sweet and cool wind blowing accross them. Willow trees, Sycamores and Pines cast their shade over the lusious green grass and the Ulaya who was laying under them.
A breeze ruffled the multicolored fur of a female as she lay quitely under a shaded tree. This female was no ordenary Ulaya, Keerty had soft feathery wings adorning her back and though they were small could lift her off the ground for short distances. Yawning as her green eyes scanned her surroundings, the female flicked her ears back and forth just listening to the sounds of nature. Her mind was else where, some where far away from the present as she remembered the past in a daydream.

His fur gleamed slightly in the soft sunlight, perhaps almost as a gem. Despite being rather hard to hide in the grass when you happen to be brightly colored .. it did not stop him from trying. It wasn't that he hated being seen. It was that he rather hated being cornered for conversation sake. The various scents of mother nature seemed to have gloriously blessed the area he had stumbled into. Whether or not this was a good thing in his opinion was another story.
Javen was fairly new to the area. Despite being rather unsocial, he was interestingly colored. His red fur had dips of white and black that seemed as if it was almost splattered across his coat.
As the breeze ruffled both himself and the grass around him, he slinked over to the nearest overbearing object in the area. It was a tree that seemed to be doing well for itself. Taking in the shade, the Ulaya flopped down on his four paws. As catious as he normally was.. he seemed to miss the fact that he had plopped down within reach of another creature.

It wasn't long until the scent of another Ulaya drifted strongly across the rare breeze that would sweep through at random intervales, rousing her from the dream and ruffling the Koi female's feathers and fur. Through the grass, Keerty could see patches of red bebopping about, seemingly trying to blend in with their surroundings. A few minutes passed before the male got near enough to her that if she wanted to, the Uncolian could take a well sized step and touch him. Amused greatly by the fact that the masked red male seemed not to notice her presence, Keerty flared her wings in a stretch before speeking. "And you are... who? Some strange kind of thief?"
The remark couldn't be helped, it was just to tempting not to make a referance to the mask that lined the male's face. Grinning as she waited for the red splattered male's shocked responce, Keetry let her eyes wonder to his unusual tail. Another cat?
(*Sorry for the misspellings. D: I'm running low on Muse.*)

(As long as you don't mind my late replies/lack of muse myself. it's all good x.x)
Between mid-lick upon his left paw Javen found himself quickly reering up to find where the voice was coming from. Reering up with a few small hairs catching into the back of his throat, causing a small fit of coughs. His tongue hanging out, trying to brush the hair off was when he finally noticed the female that he was too blind to notice before. It was an awkward moment, one that would not be easy to slink out of.
"Blah.." He growled, still attempting to catch his breath. "If I was a thief, this would not make you think that I was a very good one, no?"
He took note of her wings. He had never seen an Ulaya with wings before, and he wasn't particularly sure if this was a good thing or not. He sat down and straightened himself up as he continued to gaze, all the while swaying his elongated tail to-and-fro.

She had startled him, she had actually startled the male into a choking fit. Resisting all the urges to laugh at the masked Ulaya, Keerty flicked her gaze causally over the male's coat and features. Other than his tail, the other's body looked completely like a normal Ulaya's. Raising an eyebrow at the long fluffy dust brush of a tail, the only thing that flicked through the Koi's mind was her encounters with other feline like Ulaya. Hopefully this one wasn't an a*****e like Thona or Duvie...
"Oh very much so. Other than your looks it seems as though you lack the skills of a thief." Shrugging her shoulders and wings slightly, Keerty rolled her neck before continuing. "I'm Keerty by the way."

(( .... Now that I'm done being dead ... >< ))
He scoffed, still spitting out a few red hairs from his mouth. He could see the other was chocking back a laugh, and it wasn't helping his feeling of complete and utter stupidity for the afternoon. He flicked his long tail, reaching it out to brush against the grass layed near him.
"And I suppose you can tell my skills in only a matter of minutes? Tell me dearie, do you really think I'm as clumsy as I make out to be?" He quirked a fuzzy brow, staring deep at her. After a few seconds of staring he caught himself, and muttered out something that was either easily heard, or easily interpreted from the mumbling.
"Javen, I'm Javen."
