bluecelebi Good for you, you have the same favorite characters as about 85% of every who's played Soul Calibur II. (don't flame me, it the truth if you look at every SCII thread almost everyone says Talim or Link). TRY DIFFERENT CHARACTERS PEOPLE! Don't just say that the first character you tried is the best and never use anyone else. Some characters have some abilities that you hated when the computer used them but when YOU do you'll realize that they are the best. Not that you did but MANY (and I mean many) people just pick Link or Talim firrst and never use anyone else. I won't deny that they are both really good characters but every one of them have something special for each situation. Well, both Link and Talim are good beginning characters. That's probably why a lot of people like them best. (I would add Nightmare to that list, too) Wow, like...nobody else mentioned Necrid. I think he's kinda a lame character, but hell, he's fun to play with.

Grrr my friends best character is Necrid and I get him down to a teeny bit of life and he does his forward punch and knocks me off stressed

I have to disagree with the Nightmare part not because I think he's bad (actually I like him as one of the best) but he is a secret character so you can't use him as a beginner but if you were one it would be great to start ouyt with. ssssnake123 (If only Link had the Fierce Diety's mask outfit with the sword as his legendary weapon.) (how true) I use Voldo. Mostly because it took so long to learn to use him but also because he just weirds people out. And he can be SO unpredictable if you really know his moves.

I use either Cassandra or Cervantes, both are good characters. I love to abuse Cassandra's shield strike and her throws since both are hard to predict while her kicks normally get me out of tough situations. Cervantes is a bit harder to use since if you miss you're going to be open for a couple attacks. I try to psyche my opponents out with his firey moves and the mess with 'em with a couple weak moves or throws (I love throws)

ive been working on Mitserugi, Taki, and Ivy lately. I'm eventually gonna try to get good with all the characters so I can play as Charade and just be the ultimate unpredictable dude but thats still a decent ways off.... sweatdrop

Buuuuuuuut...I need something that my brother will play with me, as he hates Street Fighter and Guilty Gear. Soooooo...
Favourites: Nightmare, Ivy, Mitsurugi and Charade (he's like an eyeballing Mokujin).
