Eh, it's built for speedpicking with a pick and nothing else. Not my kind of bass.

I don't really like ESP basses, though mostly I think that extrem body shapes should be for guitars too. Over all I'm more into either boutique basses, or classic fender esqu bodies, or the thunderbird that's about as crazy as I like to get. I really think that it should be about tone and sound, not these ood shapes, and angles that may stabe and/or impale yourself and/or audience members/innocent bystandards.

Actually, most of these "ood" shape basses are quite comfortable to play. But you're right, tone and sound should come first, thing is, lots of X-TREEEM!!! shaped basses have great sound and tone now-a-days.

Well I defentatly admit they make great guitars, but I just have a hard time believing that extrem shapes can be good sounding at the same time and still be resonably priced. plus as I said I really don't like ood shaped basses or guitars. But I'm not gona dump on some one if that's their things or any thing its personal choice really. Mainly though I stay away from them. Maybe ESP is better then BC Rich, which I have had horrible exp with.

I wouldn't touch a Rich with a ten foot truss rod, but I can play an ESP and not be bothered by it, they're pretty good and depending on the model there is actually a lot you can do with them. But yeah, I don't own a bass with an odd shape, I own a Brawley. Look 'em up.

Yeah I like those, and I have to say that I would tottally pick up an ESP good quality, but since they are costly that won't be for a while. BC Rich even has a few decent modles, but I can't get past the looks at all I used one once at a show, I felt Like I was gona drop it and cut off my foot or some thing. Not really but it was really awkward, and I get better tone from my cheep pawn Silver tone 5 string. The main thing I'm on about hear is that extrem looking guitars are usually not the way to go. (With that BC it was either use it or not play at all, and since my band does rely on some serious bass to fill out the sound I needed too. A lot of people thought it looked cool, and didn't notice the lacking tone any ways. But it just so happened that none of the other bass players wanted me to use their guitars that person gets extra cool points for helping me out and I'll lend them my guitar any time they need it.)

Uhm? Will it give me aids if I play it? I prefer double cutaway myself, that won't stab me in the crotch and make me bleed out from my nuts. How am I supposed to play jazz with that? That's ridiculous. You don't need a pointy bass to play metal. Look at the bass player from seether... and tool, but then again those guys don't consider themselves mainstream metal. Personally, I would like a fender that again won't stab me...
