First off, there are several kinds of creatures roaming around in Gi, whether they are natural or not. I don't think I have to describe the obvious creatures, but as for some of the stranger things, I'll tell you all you need to know. And if you have any suggestions, contact me and we'll see about adding them to the list.
Minkeys: Small, monkey-like creatures that hang around any kind of wooded area, especially the Forest of Lost Souls. They're covered in white fur, with black hands, feet, and faces, not to mention beady red eyes. It's wise to steer clear of these little bastards, because despite their cute and harmless appearance, their faces open up (that's right, you heard me) and reveal their real mouth, lined with several rows of frighteningly sharp teeth, and with which delivers a venomous bite which numbs the limb it is injected into leaving you almost defenseless. They are extremely volatile when disturbed, and stay in large groups (usually about three dozen or more). They aren't really strong though, and can be taken out fairly easily if you're quick enough or you use magic. It's rumored that these creatures are the result of a mischievous goddess's cruel joke.
Minkey Kings: Obviously, a larger version of the minkey family. These big guys normally get bigger than an average silverback, and they boast the physical strength to match their bodies. They still have the same temper and venomous bite as the smaller ones, but don't travel in large groups like the smaller ones. Instead they hang around the smaller minkeys to act as a protector for the particular group (there's usually only one big minkey in each group). These beasts are also known to knock down trees and cause quite a ruckus when angered, so again, avoid these creatures at all costs.
Mimics: More of a nuisance than an actually threat, these strange creatures adopt the physical properties of any living creature or person it sees. No one really knows what a mimic actually looks like, because it always changes the way it looks. It doesn't gain any special abilities when it changes, however. It's sole purpose is to confuse and/or confound a person when it meets them. These creatures are said to be the end result of an experiment done by a whack alchemist, simply because there's no better explanation for their origin.
Warblers: Large, bird-like animals who stand about as tall as an average ostrich. Their plumage color varies from the location they're raised in. They have large, impressive beaks used for pecking anyone who disturbs them. There are a lot of warblers that have been tamed and are used primarily for military purposes, for they have incredible foot-speed. The smaller variety of warblers have underdeveloped wings, and are incapable of flying, whereas the larger variety (which usually stand about three stories tall) are capable of such things as flying and even speech. The bigger ones, however, are almost impossible to tame due to their strong dislike of being one's steed. It is also rumored that they are the distant cousins to the dragon family.
Goblers: Another cruel joke from the mischievous goddess, Pandora, these huge monsters are the sick mix of warblers and goblins. They're bodies are covered with thick green skin and they have large black wings upon their backs. They are fully capable of lifting large boulders with ease. Their legs are thick at the thigh, but on down are warbler like making exceptionally sharp talons. They are also capable of spitting fire from their mouths, making them extremely dangerous, even for experienced fighters.
Dragons: Large mythical beast that blend in quite well with their environments. These creatures are not to be mistakened for the cruel vicious animals people have deemed them for they are far wiser than any man alive, and are able to speak through a direct link into one's mind. Such a link is only capable to those born with the gifts of magic, the keepers of the magic. Elves are an exception, for they are born of magic so they can commune with such noble creatures. These creatures are also known to take on human form.
Arachnids: Said to be a most fearsome opponent within the bog of whispers. They are foretold to be the spawn of the cursed women whom killed the children within the forest. Upon their deaths their bloodline was cursed, and they became arachnids...and forever remain as such.
Undead A.K.A. Zombies: These creatures are summoned by those skilled in dark ancient magic. Usually Vampires are well accustomed to this magic due to how they were created by such magics. Beware, though they are mindless, they are the perfect puppets.
Antlion: This legendary desert creature resembles that of a giant ant. It burrows deep underground to feed and are usually nice. But it are notorious for turning evil whenever they become hungry or their nest is disturbed. Many ancient tribes used to sacrifice people to keep them satisfied, since they only eat once every 3 months.
Hellhound: They can usually be found around the demon plane's gate. They protect it so no one can enter, or escape. The usuall height of these creatures range from large wolves, to large horses. They are said to be the offspring of Cerberus.
Cerberus: The original hound of hell, or better known as the Demon's Plane. Death only follows the man who takes on this beast. It has three large heads, and is about 30ft in height.
Desert Wurm: These resemble worms the size of buildings with circular mouths containing over 145 sets of teeth(1670 teeth per set). It is said the traveler who is consumed by these horrid creatures, is digested for years within its stomach. They live only in the deeper parts of deserts, almost always near treasure because apperently nothing is easy for adventurers...
Draconian: Half dragons, half human. Most of them are evil because they are easily corrupted with their own power, although some aren't. Although they lack much in magic or defense, they are incredibly strong and are able to expand dragon's wings from their backs to fly around and attack their enemies. It's rumored that most are extinct.
Elemental: Though the term is very broad, it will almost always generally describes a being completely (or nearly) composed of a certain Mana element and can move and think of its own free will. This is caused when a spiritual essence such as a ghost is infused with an element that closely relates their personality when they lived. How this happens is still very much unknown. There are dozens upon dozens of different types of Elementals, but how certain types tend to look just like others of their kind is quite the odd mystery.
Fairies: Devious forest spirits that heal the wounded only to bewitch those passing through their forest. They are small and fly around at night, but looks are deceiving. Anyone who threatens the forests that they live in, are usually banned to gaps between dimensions with their mysterious powers.
Feral: Half Neko, half Demon. These ferocious beasts are very fast on their feet and often stalk unknowing prey at night. It is rare to find one that can speak in an understandable tongue, but they do seem to communicate amongst each other silently; possible telepathy is suspected, though they do not posses telekinetic lobes in their brains. Beware of their lightning fast claws...
Sea Serpent: 200-ft water snakes. They reside in massive lakes and oceans. Though their numbers are small, they have a very long lifespan. Many sailors fear to cross the oceans at times for their aggressive territorial nature.
Shinigami: Powerful demons who reside over the demon's plane, and are even said to rival the power of Salem himself. They (luckily) can only survive in hell. There is only one, but they are insanely powerful... and when it is killed, another instantaneously takes its place.... its hopeless to try and kill them all...
Wyrm: They are a type of dragon that fly without wings. These creatures are large worm like serpents that are the mortal enemies to regular dragons. What they lack in flight, they make up for in speed. Their pelts are nearly impossible to get since: 1. They are few in number. 2. Barely anyone even stands a chance against one of these massive creatures. They are capable of breathing fire, ice or pure energy from their mouths...
Jyrofiend: They usually stalk their prey at night, but they are extremely hard to locate since their skin bends light around them and virtually makes them invisible to the eye. They float and have 6-12 clawed arms depending on age. They tend to nest in deep forests in groups of twenty at the most. The only thing that gives these elusive creatures off is the stringent smell of brimstone.
Demon: They come in thousands of varieties. The one thing they have in common... the demon's plane and their love for their dark god Salem. Their strengths and abilities vary greatly, but most are physically and/or mentally stronger than humans.
Goblins: Once noble elves they were cast from the kingdom and into the mountains when discovered practicing the dark arts of magic. They were cursed by the very first elf to eat raw meat, be sensitive to light, and lose their knowledge of the various arts of magic. Through time these creatures adapted, and became large, muscular, and hideous.
