I thought so too!, Though the fact that Rena continuously got shot to the point of immobility in under thirty seconds frustrated me. Made me wonder how that whole -damage but not destroy shut down system worked. Though It makes more sense realistically, a zoid/ gundam would probably stop working once hit a couple times, not like these machines that just keep going in Gundam. Or blow up completely when an arm or leg is gone.

I try...I think Xeks should read that over, see what he thinks, he'd prolly have a reasonable answer for what goes on.

well it all depends on how they get hit.
If they blow up when an appandage gets taken out, then probably the shot took more away from the body then just the limb.
If you slice or cut away like with a beam saber then yeah its reasonable that they will still be able to fight.

okay!
But what about those giant cannons on some gundams (in like finale episodebattle scene moments) when they just shoot in a straight line and gundams that don't even get directly hit, ecplode in a ball of fire??
HOW do they have FIRE!? it's in SPACE! XD well...mostly.

HOW do they have FIRE!? it's in SPACE! XD well...mostly. radiant heat melting the armor, causing a chain reaction of stuff like the reactor powering the suit to blow, or other explosive elements to go up. if you watch, they do start to melt before they blow.

Very true, and I do love my sleep. ...
I'm pretty sure if I 'married' (or the equivalent for you picky boy types) who was only out for 5 hours of the day. I'd conk them out with something so I could have peace XD.
