This is for exactly what the subject says - suggestions! If there's anything in particular that you'd like to see in Noctua, let us know. Ideas for the sorts of things you could suggest:
- types of Companions (no more companions, sorry!)
- events
- contests
- accessories
- setting ideas
- and so on!
If you have some ideas about what you want to see here, then we want to know! smile Please understand that we won't necessarily respond to all of the suggestions, and making a suggestion does not guarantee that a) it will be implemented, b) it will be implemented without any changes to your original concept, or c) you will be credited at all. If you have an awesome idea that you're really attached to and couldn't bear to see changed (or to not be credited for), then save it for your own shop!

I have some ideas for accessories.
I think some kind of eye protection might be useful for certain professions. Apothecaries working with drugs or poisons that could harm their eyesight if they got splattered. Scouts and others that might fly in difficult terrain might also want to protect their eyes. Another possible use is a crafter working with something that might produce splinters or crack under their will and send potentially dangerous shatters flying.
The first thing that came to mind was something like a pair of aviator goggles since they'd obviously need to be able to see still. The trouble is: do the sentinels have access to a material that's strong, won't shatter easily and is see through?
Others are just some mindstorming for emblematic accessories.
Minder: A pendant shaped like a nest or maybe a simplified nest. It could be strands of metal braided together to form a circle.
Teacher: One of their most important tasks is to make sure their charges learn how to fly properly so I think a pair of spreaded wings might be a good emblem. I thought about one singel flight feather first but that seems like more appropriate for a fletcher.

I figured I'd post my Chirop Outpost idea here.
Basically, a message service for Sentinels that also works as a notice board. Rangers out on the edges of the forest could use the outposts to send messages to their loved ones, or if they need help of some kind. Regular Sentinels could send messages across the forest, or post general notices, such as "Minder with empty space in nest, taking all egg types and hatchlings," or "Apothecary seeking Artisan to take dye off out of wings," or other types of notices, depending on what comes up. Each outpost would be serviced by a Keeper to watch over the Chirop flock, a Watcher, to Watch the place, and an army of Chirops with good speaking abilities and decent enough intelligence to repeat messages. The Chirops would wear special collars and have an insignia of the outposts on their wings, so that they wouldn't get eaten.

I had an idea for an emblem for the hunters. Eric as talkinga bout a future character, which inspired it.
What if the hunters wore bone necklaces? As in, there would be a skull as the pendant and bones would be part of the chain/leather?
Also, I don't know if the hunters have ranks or not, but if they do, different skulls could signify what rank they are.
Just a passing thought. :3
Donna and I were toying around some ideas for celebrations for the sentinels:
Brigadier Appreciation Day
Longest Night Celebration
The equinox and solstice feasts
Maybe a Harvest Moon ball
Minder's Day
Veteran's Day ( to honor the Elites and the like )
Bard Spectacular (All the bards could do their best performances for a prize)
Foodbringer Feast ( Day off for Hunters and Gatherers, others catch and find food for them )
Something or another to celebrate Solar Eclipses

I have a suggestion, too, for another emblem... Dunno what profession you would like to use it for... I was hoping gatherer, but it could work for rangers/scouts/hunters.
It is a fishbone hook from Hawaii. I own one that looks more realistic than this one, but this was the closest resembling that I could find online. I snap a shot of mine when I get home. -plans on using it for Rosin one day-

It isn't the best photo ever, but I did get a snap of my hook. -always wears it-
It doesn't do it too much justice. It is more natural and rough cut, if you look at it. -shrugs- I thought it might be useful/interesting.

I had another random thought that might one day be useful?
-is definitely cluttering this place-
Perhaps in the future, once Noctua is a bit more developed as far as roleplaying/members, and there are more keepers, there could be a listing under the companion section?
Just another random thought. :3
It might also help with roleplay development to have the sentinels visit a keeper to retrieve their companion.
Sentinel Name/ Breed of Companion/ Location
Something along those lines, with a link to their territory... Or something like that...
