I think Highlander falls under the fantasy/sci-fi heading.

I just started re watching it, and it's pretty amazing. The characters are deep and conflicted, the storyline is fairly consistent and keeps your attention, and the acting is great biggrin

I recommend it to anybody who's primary interest in any particular work of fiction is an emphasis on character-development

I remember talking to my uncle about Highlander. ^_^ The thing about it that stands out the most to me is the music performed by Queen. ^^
