Sekitus knew a good opportunity when he saw one. And oh, had he seen one. Who knew how it had started, but it seemed as though Reno had gotten saddled with taking care of kids that morning. Well... Rachana and Draculin at least. Really, Rachana had probably just wandered over and Tycho probably left Draculin while he "quickly" did some 'important errand'. So Sekitus had taken advantage of the situation, giving Reno a similar answer and leaving before the male had a chance to protest.
So now he had a day free of baby-watching. Not that he necessarily minded taking care of Sukole, oh no. But y'know, there were some days when you just wanted to get out and do something for yourself. For Sekitus, that meant snatching up a seat in a sitting room and digging a science magazine out of those ever present piles of magazines. Well, he did have some other activities he resorted to on occasion, from Loki-stalking to puzzles of any sort to video games, but today he just wanted to curl up in a chair and read. Okay, perhaps he was still going to watch for Loki or anyone else of interest.
Stretching out lazily over an empty couch after finding a magazine (Seed, if one is so curious to know) of interest with far less searching than usual, Sekitus began his free time ritual... of sorts.
