Breeding Information

During the breeding season, things get a little intense around Dacaiana! Eager parents want to start families, packs need heirs, and lovers and their flings get a little carried away! But it always results in the yipping of new pups.

Breeding Rules

o1. There are no set times for breedings - they will be opened during a colorists’ free time.
o2. The breeding fee is 10k. This can be split up between each owner, so long as it all goes to the mule in one trade. Please note what breeding pair you are sending the payment for in the trade title (ex; Parent1 x Parent2).
o3. Each parent must have at least three complete RP logs. At least two of the RPs must be between both partners, and must imply some romantic interest or intent to breed. In the case of rouge breedings, three general RP logs are needed.
o4. Each time you breed your wolf, you will need entirely new RP logs. You can not use the same RP logs for different breedings, even if they are between the same pair.
o5. You may keep up to two offspring per parent, ever. That means once your wolf has mated twice and you have two pups from their litters, you can never own another pup from that wolf again. They can, however, breed again.
o6. You may breed your own wolves together, but all the rules still apply.
o7. Females have to wait until their pups are fully grown before having another litter.
o8. Male x female breeding only. Though same sex pairs are allowed, only male x female pairs can have pups.
o9. No, you may not breed with any of the Gods.

Breeding Types

Regular Breeding Refers to a breeding where the appearance of the pups are based upon the parents only.

Throwbacks Refers to a breeding where the appearance of the pups are based on not only the parents, but anyone in the extended family. Owners must provide links to images of the family for the colorist to go off of, and you may end up with a past generation surprise!

Custom-in Refers to a breeding where the owners have allowed themselves or a chosen recipient to take full control of one of the pups in the breeding. The owner can pick gender, hereditary edits where applicable, as well as the full appearance (subject to whether throwbacks were requested or not). This may only happen a maximum of twice in the same litter, and has it’s own pricing considering it is essentially a full growing custom.

Breeding Sale Types

Open Slots The colorist has a set amount of slots open of a particular breeding type and the slots are first-come-first-serve. Proxying is allowed, but the slots are for one breeding pair only.

Raffles The colorist opens an open raffle with a predetermined amount of slots where users may post one breeding form. At the end of the allotted time winners will be chosen based on an RNG. Proxying is allowed, but users may only post once per breeding pair.

Colorist’s ChoiceAlso called Blind Date or Matchmaker breeding, it is similar to a raffle. The colorist has a set amount of slots and users may post an image of the adult male or female they want to breed. At the end of the allotted time the colorist will pick random pairs based on what the colorists like best. Proxying is allowed, but users may only post once.

Rogue Breeding Similar to a raffle and colorists choice, the colorist has a set amount of slots and users may post one image of the adult male or female they want to breed. At the end of the allotted time winners will be chosen via RNG. Proxying is allowed, but users may only post once.
