So my mom was looking at the calendar yesterday and suddenly told me, "By the way, keep the evening of the 21st open. We're gonna do something." So I ask her what, but she won't tell me. Naturally, I pester. She says I'll have to wait and see. I ask her what if I don't like it. She promises me that I will. I pout and she tells me we're gonna see Rent.
If you'll excuse me...
OH MY GHOD!!!!!!!!
I am so happy. I knew Rent was coming to my city, but I never thought mom (she's a bit of a penny-pincher) would go for it. I nearly died screaming when she told me. ^_^ I can't stop smiling. ^_^ I've never seen it before....GAH!

^^ good for you DNA! I don't know what Rent is about but I can guess that it's a really great musical since Idina was in it! What is their website? I tried rent.com and rentthemusical.com but that was apartments for rent or to find them and rentthemusical ment buying tickets. *grumbles* why can't they choose a simple name!

yay DNA ^^ it's probably the same Rent tour i saw (everyone is really good) dont excpect a whole big souvineer stand (a few shirts, a cow plushie, and various other cool rent stuff, but no program, but you still get a free playbill). it was a very talented cast (i met the mark, roger, and collins after the show and saw the angel riding his bike somewhere).

whee GOOD FOR YOU!!!!
Rent was my first touring Broadway musical I ever saw, so naturally it's my favorite. You will adore it. It's at LEAST three tissues so go prepared. I seriously like this cast even better than the original one. Of course, I'm a little biased. The girl playing Maureen is from my hometown! ^_^

Rent was ********. I sobbed the entire second half. ^_^
All I can say is if I ever do Rent at a local theatre or something, I may beg for the part of Joanne. Don't ask me why, but I *really* wanna be her!
