There is no official time when puberty starts. People go through it at different ages. Some people start as young as about 9, others don't show many signs of puberty until they're about 16. The average age is around 12 though.
During puberty, people usually get taller and gain weight. Girls start growing breasts and getting their period. Their hips get wider. So if you are noticing those things, you're probably going through puberty.

If you had your period, you would know it. Your period is when blood comes out of your v****a.

Period blood is usually reddish just like regular blood, but it also may be pink, brown, or sort of black. All of that depends on the woman and where she is in her cycle.

I am not sure what you mean. Your period is when your body sheds the lining of the uterus. That is true whether it is your first period or your one thousandth period. So when you have your first period, it is just like any other period you will have in the future, although your period could be light or irregular to start off.
