I'm kinda broke for the holidays so I was thinking of mailing cookies instead of presents or money sweatdrop ... anyways, I want to make a little assortment. I have two recipes I absolutely adore, Nestle Tool House Chocolate Chip Cookies and Quaker Oatmeal Cookies, and wish to use. But... I need a third idea... Can anyone help me think of something? I'm wanting a contrast, since I already have a chocolate and a spice cookie I was thinking of having a fruit or sugar cookie. Of course, I am mailing these a pretty good distance so I need something that won't go bad in 5-7 days. Thanks! heart

You could possibly do a basic sugar cookie and add in zest from any citrus. That might be good. Or put crushed up soft peppermints into a sugar cookie dough.
