Everyone knows that this topic is going to show up just about everywhere you go. It's unavoidable. It was only a matter of time.
I'm going to suggest that, for anyone who is reading but hadn't finished the series or hasn't started reading the series yet but is interested, all spoilers should look something like this: This is where the spoiler would go. w00t!
List favourite characters, least favourite characters, favourite book, least favourite book, etc. You know how it goes.

Me, personally, I love the Weasley twins. They are mine! I love them so. I miss you, Fred! Why did she have to keel you?
For conversation's sake, here is my lost of the books in order from favourite to least favourite: -Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire aka Book 4, HP: GoF, or simply just GoF. -Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban aka Book 3, HP: PoA, or just PoA. -Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince aka Book 6, HP: HBP, or HBP. -Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows aka Book 7, HP: DH or DH. -Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone aka Book 1, HP: PS, or PS. Unless you live in the States, making it the Sorcerer's Stone. -Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secretsaka Book 2, HP: CoS, HP: CS, CoS, or CS. -Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix aka Book 5, HP: OotP, OotP, or, if you're me, The book that ruined the series that luckily had the next book save it.

The thing I always loved about Harry was he was troubled. Not a perfect hero at all. And you kinda knew something was up with Dumbledore all along, but who knew he was in love with the wizard who became his great foe!? Poor guy, had to kill his lover... Made it so much more solid, imho.

I never thought anything was up with the big D-dawg. Who I usually call Zombiedore. XD Also, that entire couple was totally out of left field for me. A friend said it made so much sense when she heard that bit of news, and I was all "meh? It's still random". Lol.

I haven't read the books, but I've seen most of the movies. Choire was thinking about starting an RP on HP. Would any of you be interested?

I'd totally be interested. The only question I have in regards to a HP RP would be if we were using actual characters from the books/movies (aka Harry, the Weasleys, the Malfoys, etc.) or if we'd focus on 'original' characters. I figure the professors will pretty much need to be the same.

That would be the main reason we haven't gotten around to putting it up. We want to put it in about their fifth year of schooling, but we're not sure if we should allow the use of cannons. Maybe we'll put a poll up. What do you think?

Fifth year sounds good. If it's decided that canons are used I suggest making it alternate universe, for those who haven't read/seen farther than that but are interested in joining. It's my opinion that the only canons that should be used are the professors and the government members.
