Kapik woke up as her little body was covered in snow, the sun was melting it cuausing it to turn to water and drenching her pelt as the wind harshly blew agasinst her, making her a bit cold.
"Another long day."
She told herself as she shook herself off, snow flying everywhere. Brrr. She thought as she raced forward, trying to get the air to dry her off. Maybe sleeping under the pine tree wasn't such a good idea since the snow made the branches heavy, causing them to bend and through snow upon her.
She sniffed the air, picking up the scent of another dog, a new one. Her tail wagged behind her as she sniffed the ground, the sun now warming her back.

And there was Manirak -- mappily chasing some form of rodent. The blue-hued dog was quite the sight. Leaping into the air he landed, nose in the snow, just as the rodent zipped past him, and toward another-- Wait,..
"Hey there!" Manirak said, straightening up, ears perked high on his head as he trotted over to the tan and white dog. He wore a funny grin, and some snow still on his nose.

Kapik's eyes widened as a blue dog surprised her, seeing some snow laid upon his nose. She couldn't help but laugh a bit. She probably had some of the white fluff on her as well since she had been sniffing close to the ground.
"Hi there"
She said with a smile and her tails wagging."My name is Kapik and yours?" She said with a friendly, and playful tone.

"The name's Manirak! You can call me Mani, though. Nice ta meet you!"
Manirak was a happy dog, tail constantly wagging - like it was now - and a grin plastered on his face. His eyes were almost always bright with a playfult, but kind-hearted spirit.
"What brings you out in this neck of the woods?" He cocked his head to the side, engaging in some friendly conversation.

"I like the name.. it's very unique." Quite like her own.
Seeing him wag his tail and smiling made her do the same. It was contagious, just like a yawn. "I live around here, well not actualy live but I usually fall asleep underneath the pine trees. " She said, looking around the woods. "What about you?"

"I'm traveling. I live down a lil closer to town, just on the other side of the woods! I got bored, so I figured I'd go on an adventure! Buuuut, then I kinda got distracted by that mole and, weeeell, I ended up here!" He ended with a little happy jump.
"One of these days though, I'll catch one, and make it play with me!" He said, getting into a humorous hunting pose.

She had always wanted to head towards the town, she had gotten to the boundaries of the town but never took a step inside. "A mole?" She had never hunted a mole before, sneaky little creatures they were. She was all about rabbits and small birds.
"Play with you? That'll be amusing. I defiantly want to help you when you catch one, then we shall play together."

"Yeah! That'd be awesome!" he straightened back up. "I could take ya to town, but some people are really mean. The kids are nice though! It's the bigger people you gotta worry about. They'll kick at you, yell at you, and all sorts of things! ya gotta be real ssssssssneakeh to get some goodies from the meat-man, too!" Manirak put on a mischevious look, getting down on his belly and acting all sneaky-like.
"SO! rabbits, huh?" he rolled about in the snow, careless as could be. "Thier fun too, but moles are sneaky, an' more of a challange!"

Going to the towns sounded nice but when he started to speak about the big two leggers that would scream and kick at you, it wasn't something that Kapik looked forward too. "That'd be fun, but just keep me away from those tall one's."
Being with the kids might be fun, feeling them pet her and laugh along with her. "Rabbits are easier and I just like when things don't pose to much of a challenge on me." When that happened she usually froze up and couldn't do much of anything.

"Aww, but a challange is always good fun!" He flopped back over onto his belly. "So. ya really wanna go to town? We could see if any of the kids are out today!" Mani loved playing with the kids -- barking, casing sticks and pinecones, getting hugs,..it made him one happy puppy!

Kapik nodded. "Alright, going into town sounds like it would be fun, you lead the way since I have no idea where I am going." She smiled and looked over at him, wagging her tail. He was only a pup as she was teen. But she still had some pup like attitude inside of her and he seemed to be very smart for his age.
