Good Evening, Crew.
First, I'd like to extend my deepest apologies for my lack of activity. I've gone back to work, so my free time has lessened considerably. I'm only home for three days of the week now, and am spending a lot more time with my little girl. But, I'm still going to be around to run this guild!
I've been working secretly for the past two months on a new layout, story line ideas, and things of the sort. The time has come, my friends, to share this information with you.
I truly value your ideas, opinions and suggestions, so I urge you to please post them! The next post, you'll notice, is a general lay out of what's happening in our renovations. I'm kindly asking for your help in this matter, as my time has run short. We'll be posting the thread in here before we open it up. I'm hoping to have everything in here before we go ahead and reconstruct everything.
I've read that some of you are a bit concerned about the roleplays you've come to love. Fear not! All I'm trying to do is create a more literate environment, and thus is the reason that things will NOT be deleted, but merely moved to the recycle bin subforum. For example, the roleplay that Myrtle and I have been sharing, will simply be moved, and we will re-start it using a far more literate layout (no picture included, color designation will be gone, far more descriptive, etc)
Thanks to everyone for their patience in my absence, and my ever changing mind! I appreciate your help, and I want everyone to know that I regard you as much more than just Net-Friends! Thanks smile

So, with the list above given, I ask that if you get the urge to create one of these threads, that we do so here, within our own Discussion Board. I want to keep this as top secret as we can, to avoid the whininess that may follow.
If you could just make a thread and title it to match whats posted in here, that would be awesome. We'll work on coming up with wicked awesome HP related titles later on. I really want to work together on this, I think that with 4 bloody geniuses at it, we'll have the best Harry Potter guild in all of Gaia!

A lot of fanfiction authors don't want people to post in their story. I noticed that you didn't have a place for the responses. Maybe there could be a thread for that as well? Also, having links to fanfiction might not be the best because not everyone can get links to work (myself for instance mrgreen ). I like the fanfiction the way it is now, though I do agree that it is very messy and has too much in it. I'm going to look at the fanfiction of other guilds, and I'll get back to you on that.

That kinda falls in with what I'm currently doing with fanfiction. If I read one I like, I PM or email the author requesting permission to post their story. Being a writer myself, I firmly believe in the courtesies that should go hand in hand. When I speak of links, I mean a section where all the authors are listed alphabetically, and each of their stories will have a link to the page in our subforum thereafter.
