Well, it seems our favorite handheld of the last 15 years has gone the way of it's console brethren. It was a good run, little buddy, you had the world at your fingertips. But now it's the end of an era. Out with the old and in with the new. Although we must make room for the DS, you shall always live on in our hearts.

-I wouldn't say dead, just slowly deteriorating. 3nodding

-Pokemon, and the evolution of the GameBoy.

-Most of the Pokemon Titles, Kirby, some others I can't remember.

What makes you think the Gameboy line is ending?

So far the Gba is at the end of it's life, but most likly next E3 we're going to get a new Gameboy. Nintendo would be stupid to stop the most famous handheld name ever. The Gbm is just a short shot before the Gba runs out of space and stops. But Nintendo will make another one.

Also the Ds isn't taking it's place. If it did it would have been called the "Gameboy" Ds. The Ds is just another part of Nintendo next to their home consoles and the Gameboy line.

-I don't think the Game Boy is dead. After all, they are releasing the Game Boy Micro. Who knows, maybe they will release a Game Boy with graphics that will match the DS someday.

-My fondest memory might be the first time I got a Gameboy. It was during a vacation, and my sister and I both got one. Let me remind you that this was the old Gameboy.

-For my favorite Gameboy game, I would say "Dr. Mario."

- yes and no. since nintendo has the DS now the next gameboy probably won''t be as big as it otherwise would have been, but nintendo has repeatedly said that they are not discontinuing the GB line. I''m betting that next years E3 will reveal a new one.

- playing it, watching it fall down stairs without getting damaged....(probably shouldn''t have done that...), watching the other kids on the band bus be horribly bored on long trips... twisted .

- way too many to list. all the zelda games, pokemon, Metroid II,....some I can''t even remember the titles to any more....sad....

Gameboy Game Over? Dude, I still play my NES. It''s never game over for me.

Fondest memories? God, I remember getting Pokemon Red Version. There was a specific smell I remember, the game cartidge smelled new or something. Go fig. I was out of my mind when I got it, though. I was really addicted to it. Too bad I''ve missingno. glitched it to the point where it barely saves anymore.

Favorite game? I''ll stay away from Pokemon for now, bless its immortal soul. Uh, Wario Blast was pretty cool. So was Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. I played that a lot at my Grandma''s house.

-I hate to say it, but the Gameboy itself is on it's last legs. Gameboy games have stopped being made and have been replaced by GBA games.

-Playing Metroid 2 for hours, knowing that the second I turned it off my data would be erased. gonk

- Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages.

I dont think GB is dead, GBA still runs rampant, and still carrys the Gameboy name amoung other Nintendo licenses.

personal nights of playing GB games for hours and linking with my brother when playing Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow and Gold/Silver. so many fond memories. ^_^

pokemon games I enjoyed, Kirby, Street Fighter 2, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, and so many more. ^_^

I personally wish to see more ninja games on Nintendo systems, Consoles and Handhelds.
