oh if you want to hear the difference bass makes listen to Immigrant Song at the begining there is no bass and when he comes in its like night and day

a few huge points you mist
JPJ acctually pointed out Robert Plant to Jimmy Page
and
He was the one who helped "manage" the Yard Birds, Jimmy Pages band before Led Zeppelin
also
JPJ pointed Bonzo out to Jimmy when he was in the Yard Birds, although he only did one tour...

Yea It really annoys me when I see Zepp videos and they barely ever show JPJ.
'Cause he's SO the man!
Everyone remembers Plant 'cause he's like the front man. And Jimmy was the lead guitarist so they're always popular. Bonzo died and everyone remembers him. But No one ever talks about JPJ.
And It annoys me a lot. So thanks for the thread!

John Paul Jones not only plays bass, but he plays like 50 different instruments for the band. He's incredubly important.
