I think that I'm gonna start not using the plural conjugation for "you" when I'm just talking to one person. It feels silly to me. Makes more sense to say "you is" than "you are", because you are only 1 thing. Unless theres more than one of you, then I'll use "are".

What would compel you to think that makes no sense? Makes perfect sense to me.

I'd imagine you'd raise a few eyebrows if you were to pull that crap in Russian. "Куда Вы идёт?" just sounds morally wrong for some reason.

You is makes no sense to me either. I second starting using thou art again. That makes perfect sense. And it's cool.

No, what he's saying makes perfect sense. I agree though, thou art is cooler. on second thought let's just gradually go back to Old English. Gradually so that nobody notices it before it's too late. ninja
