Thank you for letting me join! Has anyone seen a video of Gackt speeking English? I saw one and he sounded very British from what I heard. But, it was very short, so, just asking, anyone know where to find more videos of him speaking English? (not that his Japanese isn' great to listen to : ) )
Umm... Still don't know much about this site, but oh well, I'll learn.
Anyone like Miyavi as well? Or any other groups like Gackt?

welcome to the guild. ah... don't worry. you'll find it easy to navigate the threads.
i've seen that 3 second clip of him speaking English... it's not bad, too short to really get a good grasp on how it really is. but if he is good in Korean and Mandarin, then i'm sure his English is just as good. may be you can check out some of the SKIN vids on Youtube. i heard he spoke some English in it, being that they debuted in the US.
i enjoy MVY's music too. but i must say this, being that you're new to the guild... there is an extended discussion thread for Miyavi Fans in the "Another World" forum. there, you can discuss and find more j-pop/rock artists that are similar to Gackt's sound and many more.

December Love Song should be on YouTube. He sings that in English. It's really good. But some of the words are a little rough but that's just Gack-nese.

I saw a clip where he speaks a little english. That was when he was in Madagascar. He also sings silent night with Ayumi Hamasaki in english and Feel the Fire is a song in english. ^-^

He sang a song for a kirin firestone (coffee) commercial.
Don't read the subtitles the first time he sings the song,
and see if you can actually hear the words.

He sang a song for a kirin firestone (coffee) commercial.
Don't read the subtitles the first time he sings the song,
and see if you can actually hear the words.
...Call it Gackt there is something about asians overseas pronouncing the "th" or "t" anything kinda weird. some of my family members still has that little tongue tie. it's cute. :XP: to be honest, hearing Gackt sing... there is some words where you can't seem to make out at a glimpse. cute. :XP:

i know i posted already... but i think i heard some bad ones. i'm not knocking, cuz i love this group and the lead singer... but i found it a bit hard to understand Ruki from the GazettE... i didn't know what in the world he was saying in Silly God Disco and Filth in the Beauty. the whole time i thought he was singing in Japanese... oy did i feel stupid after i read the lyrics. sweatdrop BUT I STILL LOVE 'EM!!!!!... Gackt's very good already. 3nodding i want to hear him speak Korean... being that he is learning that currently. 3nodding

Wataru_is_love I understood him pretty well. I didn't, the first time I listened to the song. Now I can, but I think it's b/c I know the words.
