Victor sat on the front porch of the large victorian style mansion he resided in, (And often had to help repair) wearing a heavy sweater and scarf as he watched the light fade rapidly to dark. The leaves fell from the trees, a brilliant smattering of colors that drifted to the ground to make pools of orange, reds, and yellows. He sighed softly through his nose, his breath barely visible, idle thoughts roaming through his skull. He felt melancholy this evening, and he wasn't sure why. Perhaps because he hadn't had anyone over in so long...? That could possibly be why. Chieko had been so busy with other things, like a rampaging bunny boy who refused to listen to any rules, or yet another rampaging bunny boy, whom, he suspect was just lonely. In any case, he prefered to be outside at the moment, hiding away from the drama and trouble, and not being the cause of it.
((Chieko's house is north of Barton, on an acherage surrounded around the front by a tall iron fence and gate, and around the back by solid brick wall fences. A road leads to the gate, and then a short walk past that, between huge, tall old trees that line a path to the front porch. The house it's self looks like it was very grand in it's day, but has fallen a bit to disrepair. It still gives a feeling of warmth and welcome, however. ))

Elena had been ranging further and further from her usual haunts; she hadn't yet switched to her school's night program, so that left her evenings after meals and homework free for exploring. While not as adventurous and spirited as her younger sister Anarya, the older girl still did like to get out from the House more often than not. It seemed as though there were always little children underfoot, unless she retreated to her room, the library, or the roof for star-gazing. Her mother was understanding of this need to escape, as Jerava had adopted a largely hands-off method of child-rearing. Elena was allowed to roam Gaia, as long as some one, or thing, accompanied her. Today, her escort was a large fox creature who came up to roughly Elena's waist. Emini would range ahead of her mistress, only returning when something interesting was found. Normally, such things were strange rocks or leaves, and the girl now had a small collection of such things tucked into her purse. This time, however, Emini came back and darted off again, heading towards a tall gate. Curious, Elena followed, pushing through and peering about. "Hello?" she called out, not having immediately seen anyone.

Victor let out another breath as the stars began to show themselves in the chilly night sky, and he moved to stand, the sounds of raging bunny boys starting to calm in the house. He took a step up the porch, before he heard a voice, and he turned his head behind him to look. Black stands of hair blew past his face, as the light of the porch ended just before the gate, so he bent sideways to pick up the lantern next to him, and hold it up, moving down the stairs and onto the path. "Hello?" he called out, before he blinked at the stranger and her strange fox at the gate. He offered a little smile as he approached, and waved a little. "Oh, hello. I did not see you there." his voice was soft, yet clear.

Elena was vaguely aware that the stars were now visible in the night sky. Smiling slightly to herself as Victor turned towards her, she dropped her control over what she considered her most outstanding feature - her hair. It lit up like the sky above, silvery bright constellations etched out across the deep blue, nearly black hair. "Perfectly alright. I hadn't noticed you either," she replied with a smile to take any sting or insult out of her words, taking another step closer, Emini staying close by. "I assume you live here?" Elena asked, waving a hand around as she finally came within easy view of the house and porch.

Victor inhaled softly at the sudden reveal of such wondrous hair, and his eyes widened slightly. He had to pause for a long moment, before his manners reminded him that he was staring. "A-Ah...." he stammered a moment, before he offered a soft smile "I'm Victor. You must be a tale, like me?" He asked, before he continued "Would you like to come in? It's a bit chilly out." He was still rather stunned at her hair. He had only seen something so lovely on the top of Adonis' head, but, this blew that out of the water. How could hair be so.... stary? It was astonishing, to him, and that showed on his face.

Oh, this one clearly had a lot of potential. Elena's smile took on a slightly more predatory edge, but she quickly smoothed it out into something more appropriate. "A pleasure, Victor," the girl replied, giving him a curtsy. "My name is Elena, and yes, I am a Tale." She'd been meeting more and more Tales recently, perhaps something to do with the strange events they'd gone through? Elena didn't remember seeing Victor there; however, that didn't really mean anything.
"That would be nice," she said, putting a hand on Emini's head to stop the fox from coming in as well. "Stay here, and don't chase anything," Elena said softly.

"It is nice to meet you." He replied, still a little breathless, as he turned and headed into the antiquated home. A warm light came from the windows, and fought off the weather, even on the porch. Victor, however, wouldn't have noticed if it had suddenly started to rain frogs, he was so entranced by Elena's hair.

"It's always a pleasure to meet fellow Tales," Elena said, mostly to his back as he turned away. It was a half-truth, really, but not one that could be helped. The girl followed him inside, Emini half-whining at being left behind, but the fox quieted down after a moment.
"This is a lovely house," Elena said once they were inside, for once not dimming the glow of her hair under artificial light. Victor just seemed so taken with it, and Elena was more than happy to let him keep admiring it.
