At 56, I start hitting up Plaguelands (Good Exp and bonus damages for you since you're a paladin), Ungoro (selective spots for easy grinding), or SIlithus (I don't recommend because of PvP madness, but since TBC, you can try it out)

yeah, Silithis is practacally empty since the expansion. When i leveled high enough to go, i think i only saw maybe 4 players over the few days i was there. unfortunately, they were all on the other faction @_@ lucky for me, they didn't seem to care much about killing me razz

but yeah, once i hit 55 or so, i seemed to level up faster. that may have been because i was trying very hard to get to Outlands ASAP but still, i did it razz

1) Get a fast, nice 1H. If you're rich enough, look into getting Lifestealing enchanted on it, or just a +dmg chant.
2) Get a good shield & put a shield spike on it (try for Mithril or Thorium).
3) Check out some Prot AoE builds. Essentials of the build are Redoubt, Imp Block, Imp Righteous Fury, Blessing of Sanctuary, Reckoning, & Holy Shield.
4) Find a spot to grind. You want melee mobs that don't cast poisons or diseases, preferably duel-wielders. Runners can be a plus once you're experienced, as you'll just have constant mobs. Avoid spellcasters & ranged mobs.
5) Grind. You should always have Ret Aura, Righteous Fury & BoSanc active. Gather up your mobs, start with four or less until you're confident you can handle more. Judge them with Judgment of Light at first, keep Seal of Light active. Use Consecration sparingly, as it takes a lot of mana. Depend mostly on Holy Shield & Redoubt to clear mobs, with help from your melee. Once you're down to the dregs of a group, you can use Seal of Wisdom to regain your mana. Once you're more experienced with AoE grinding, you can gather more at this point, to keep up a constant grind.

at 53 I specced for the Reckadin build, which is mostly used for AoE grinding now, and I could pull an entire Graveyard over on sorrow hill. thats a constant 8-11 mobs from smallest to biggest, watch out for the Mana/life drain cast the ghouls put on you, just dispel it quickly, and you should be able to do at least three fields, before you need to mana up.

I never took the time to switch seals, simply because I got lazy. and my mage buddy always supplied me with a few stacks of food when I logged on. so I always had some to waste. happy grinding!

protection pallys are hardest to take down that i have seen becuase they've got so much HP, but when they dont have a good 1hand weapon or a sheild there pretty much useless, for paladins when they dont have a whand there pretty low DMGdealing people and becuase of that you can use all of your spells to back up the low DMG your dealing with your 1hand weapon, and when you tanking put on ret aura that way if any thing goes to another melee fighter or spell caster they can do xtra DMG but if the monster goes to a cloth wearer go and get it so its back to fighting you
then try to keep the agro to just yourself and not other party members
