Yes, I know there is another topic talking about somebody's dreams.
Anywho, in most of my dreams, I am watching myself do everything. It's like i'm not there, I can feel my hands (dream hands) lifting infront of my face, but nothing is there. But what's weird is, I haven't had a dream all month(maybe once), all i've seen is blackness.
I want my dreams back, does anybody know a way to get them back?
Anyways, a few months ago, I had a dream I kept waking up in my bedroom, but I was still in the dream world. There was a man talking, saying I chould never escape, i'd be waking up in the dream world for a very long time. This was when I chould control my dream body, I ran towards the door and opened it, then woke up.
Yeah, but now I can't control my dream body, and I want to, most magic(k) people I have known have been able to run around their dream world as if it was real life, they chould do anything they did in real life, as if the dream world was real. And then there has been some people who said they met eachother in the dream world, and remembered it when they woke up, like contacting eachother in the dream world.
But noo, I have to be stuck watching my body do things as what, AIR? But really, does ANYONE know how I chould control my dream body, like running around the dream world as if it where the real world? ._.' And how to get my dreams back? xDD;

I get those, too! It's a very strange feeling. What it means is personal to you. For instance, I've learned that when that happens with me, it's more of an intuitive dream referring to other people, or a memory of mine.

Sure you have. Scientifically, it's extremely beyond rare, if even possible, to not have a dream for that long of a period. We all have around 4 if not more dreams a night. The question is whether we remember them or not.

Your dreams didn't leave you; they're still there. I know personally I go through 'dry spells' on a fairly normal basis. It's nothing to worry about, and normally they come back on your own. If you want to speed up the process, make a habit of keeping a dream journal and making dreams a priority in your life. The importance you place on them helps determine how well you can remember them. Tell yourself everynight before going to bed, "I will remember my dreams". When you wake up, jot everything down IMMEDIATELY that you remember. Even if it's just a slight feeling of sadness or happiness, write it down. With time, your dreams will appear to be more vivid and your recall will improve.

I believe this phenomenon is called 'False Awakening' if you want to do a google on it. Others refer to it as a 'dream within a dream'. They can be annoying!

Lucid dreaming takes a LOT of dedication and practice for most people to learn. Of course, some people are naturals, others (like me) are not. There are books and websites out there to help you regain your lucidity.

I, honestly, am not too fond of lucid dreaming so I usually just let it be. But ways I've heard people practice are chosing a 'token' to help them. The key thing is to realize, while you're dreaming, that you are dreaming. So say you wear a bracelet everyday, tell yourself it will be your trigger in sleep, so when you see it in your dream, you'll think: Oh, I'm dreaming.

And people meeting people...if I'm not mistaken, that's more of an astral projection/astral travel thing, which is different than lucid dreaming.

"Where all that we see, or seem, is but a dream within a dream."

Sorry. Couldn't resist. Carry on.

(That's alot of qoutes xDD) Erm... Yeah, i'll try the whole dream journal thing, thanks.
Well, actually, I DO have a dream, it's just that all it is is BLACKNESS (and sometimes alittle green dot that moves around in the black-ness that I can never catch D:< scream stressed ) Usually when I have "False Awakening" dreams, I wake up later, like if I go to bed at 9:00 PM, and have False Awakening, i'll wake up at like 5:00 PM the next day. /:

Ah, Edgar Allen Poe. His writing equals heart

Ack! I've had a couple of dreams like that. It's like...being conscious of a non-dream. THOSE are the pits. Best thing I can recommend is just weathering those out...they'll pass eventually. sweatdrop

I had a dream the other night (finally :3, I chould somewhat control myself but sometime got thrown out for a few seconds.) and it was about how I was stuck outside in the country, and usually when I yell "This is all a dream, I shall wake up!!" I'll wake up,but I didn't, and for some reason my math teacher (wow, I know) was following me, and I finally got away from him (All the numbers T~T) I was in a vineyard and I finally screamed out "SOMEONE!!! Help me wake up!" Because, really, I chould tell this was a dream and suddenly I woke up a few seconds later, it was scary.
