******** them. Seriously. Im done with their crap. Officially. I cant stnad them anymore. Their insane bias towards Sony in general has gotten me to the point of breaking. I emailed them and told them how I felt and that I was no longer supporting them. Im too tired right now to tell all the details, but Ill get on later and post them.

Isn't this from the guy in charge of the DS section continously bashing it in his praise to PSP? sweatdrop

Yes, another Paladin that agrees with me! I seriously thought I was the only, but I agree, I ******** hate IGN and they can go to hell, all they post is bad news about the DS and Gamecube and good news for all the Sony products.

IGN watermarks there images. OMG! They should DIE!!!!!1111111
To be honest, I hardly ever go there (been about three times there in my WHOLE life), so I don't really have any opinion on them.

One of the few times I went to IGN was to read their review of Ace Combat 5, linked via Gamerankings.com...they gave it something around a 9.3 out of 10 and were wholly harder on it than Gamespot, which only gave it 8.3 out of 10. I'm not sure what kind of jackassery this is, but it's definitely some kind. xp The general style of reviewing on IGN seemed a lot less professional as well...or perhaps the correct phrase is less intelligent. rolleyes

IGN used to be relatively decent. But that was before they were called IGN. It used to be Segasages.com. A normal cheat and strategy website like GameFAQs. I used to go to it. Then they put out a magazine called IGN. Then the site name changed and they started a membership thing and you had to pay for it. Slowly evolving into the biased, IGNorant garbage it is now.
What a lame way to go. I started going to GameFAQs after that. Then to Gaia. I went to GameFAQs mostly for the message boards.

I always hated the fact they watermarked their images even though you could google for better quality ones >_>;
Of course, I never really got watermarking period. Why watermark a screen from a game when everyone will have the video soon enough? e_e;

Actually...they were called the GameSages before they became IGN. After the membership, I jump ship to GameFaqs and then here. I still go back to GameFaqs to raid message boards.

Ah. Gamesages. That's right. I've always called it SegaSages because that's the URL I always typed to get there. XP I went to GameFAQs at the exact same time. But didn't jump here until late April.

Out of boredom, I decided to see the site myself and I came across the DS mailbag. It seems you are not alone Baker. Many people share your veiws.
And the way they wrote their responce, I donno, but the way I read it seemed they had a bit of an attitude problems. Yes, they hads some right ideas, but the way they presented them couldh ave been thought through more. They almosst seemed to incline that the people who wrote in were the idiots and the major fan boys, even though no letter had any fanboyism in it.
