He smirked. She was being cute with him.
"Thank goodness. I thought I was going to have to do the 'Red Riding Hood' routine. 'What pale skin you have, what sharp nails you have, what big teeth you have,' et cetera." He shook his head and smiled. "At any rate, yes I am one too. As for my name, I'll repeat myself." He cleared his throat ostentatiously, put his hand back in his pocket, and said, "Fleance Versetto, at your service. And my age...well, that, is a secret." He put his finger up to his face and tapped his nose as he said this.

She grinned, and said "Well, Fleance Versetto, I've a few college classes to attend to. Shall I meet you again here?" She asked, wondering if they could set up a time. He looked like an experienced man, who knew about these things she did not. She ran a thin finger through her thick head, and said "I could give you my number, and we could schedule a time, or an e-mail adress would be loads better in fact." She said, realizing giving this man her number would be out of line.

Fleance already had his phone out. "Tell you what," he said, handing her the device which had a number displayed on the screen, "Here's my number, you can call it if you like. You don't seem like the type of girl who just goes around giving her personal phone number to people she just met." The irony of this statement was not lost on Fleance: in fact, he intended it that way. "As for an e-mail address, you'll find me here." He quickly grabbed a piece of paper and a pen from one of the desks and wrote an e-mail address on it, handing it to her. He wrote in a scratchy cursive, but the letters were at least legible. He took his phone back and added the number to the piece of paper in case she forgot it. "Chances are I'll probably either be here or on the computer anyway, shouldn't be too hard to reach me, miss..." He paused here and scratched his head. "Funny, you know so much about me and I don't even know your name yet. I don't suppose it would be an imposition for me to find out?"

"Yvette." She replied in a soft yet playfully smug voice. "I thank you for this Fleance. I'm Yvette Carlo Monroe, and I'll gladly contact you soon." She said, and as a business woman, she shook his hand, and then turned "Shall I contact you tonight?" She asked, one foot out the door of their conversation.

He nodded. "Yes. Unlike yourself, I am not incredibly busy. I, admittedly, have much time to myself." He slowly stepped back to the table he had been sitting at, picked up his book, and continued reading. "Toodle-oo~" he said, waving at her as he read.
College kids...my God, you've hit a new low, Lark...

•// Life is like the bottle in my hand...
Around six in the morning the next day, firday the day of thier date Tristan slowly stired and moved to his feet looking over at the time. He walked over to the shower since he had a good hour and a half before he had to be down the street at work to open up. He hated opening, it was the hight hours to be robbed at, and he had been robbed many times before the time that happened last night. But that is a long s tory that he does not have time for now. He closed the door behind him and striped himself of his clothing before sliding past the plastic curtain stepping over the tube and standing there turning on the hot water.
He stood there letting his worries get washed down the dairn with the hot water thinking to himself. Then it hit him, he had a date tonight, right after work tonight. He quickly got out of the shower placing a towle around his body thinking someone would be out there one of his siblings who would be sitting out in the living room. But when he got out of the bathroom he stood in his empty apartment looking into the morning day light that came threw his three windows. He quickly made his way out of the hallway after spending another minute or two stareing into the nothingness. He entered his bed room and then turned dropping his towel dressing quickly in a pair of dress clothing before slipping i nto his work clothing.
He sighed trying to remember where they said they would meet each other as he picked up his cell phone and car keys, money. He started to his way down towards his jeep thinking quickly as he pulled out his cell phone and texted Yveete hoping she would be awake now. "Where are we meeting? Want me to meet you at the school gates?" he asked knowing he could not get in with out a ID badge. He quickly put his phone back into his pocket as he slipped into his jeep putting it into drive before going to work.
It took five minutes before he pulled into the parking lot. Getting out with out taking up to much time he got int side and opened up the building before he went and stood behind the counter and then waited like he always did. The day was slow and he knew it would not get any better. he waited and waited some more untill his break. He would then go out back as a younger school girl in highschool look over the store to check his phone.
Always half empty never half full •/
