Can anyone tell me how to get eggs from my c**k-a-Doodle? She doesn't seem to just lay them like chickens do in the other games.

You have to use the basket like you do for getting honey from the bees. If you don't have the basket.....I don't remember how to get it. Go to this site and it'll probably tell you.
