There are too may people that are abusing this great sport of ours.

I was just watching the news and a kid was blinded in one eye from a paintball drive-by down in Seattle.

I say that anyone caught doing a drive-by with a paintball gun should be tied up wearing nothing but there underwear and a pair of goggles then every single paintballer that wants to can come and unload a hopper on them.

I know at my school there was a kid that had brought his paintball gun to school with the intentions of shooting someone with it. Unfortunelately for him some grade 12s found out about this before the teachers did. Well lets just say that he soon was covered in welts and paint.

any idiot who even tries to drive by someone should not even be considered a paintball player, because all they will bring for our sport is pain and shame

when you think about it...how many of those who commit drivebys are actually paintball players. very few if any of them. the vast majority are just people who buy a marker for the sake of drivebys.

i believe one way to stop this is to stop sellin markers in huge chains such as wal mart and canadian tire
there any idiot with enough money and a proper or fake id can walk in and buy one then screw around with it

no i dont think removing it from large chain stores is the answer. that is the only way somepeople can get their paintball, and we cant take away their chance to experience our great sport.

there is a movement however that is trying to tag paintball as a violent sport with these incidents only because the equipment was used in the attacks. should we then outlaw baseball because people have used bats as weapons, should we then outlaw hockey because people have worn hockey masks in attacks, should we outlaw golf because golf clubs could be used in attacks, should weoutlaw cooking because cooking knives could be used in stabbings. let the media examine those ideas, and report on it.

One of my friends drove up next to a car that was denting camaros with frozen paintballs. He yelled at the kid so the kid shot right into my friends window, hitting him in the temple with a frozen paintball. The kid was charged with 3 Felony counts.

I read this in an edition of APG magazine, i'll sum it up for ya:

In chicago, long time ago, there was this one guy who did a lot of dirty work for Al Copone. Well, this guy decided to try and play both sides of the field, for and against Capone. Capone got wind of this, tied the guy to a chair, took out a Louyville Slugger, and clubbed the guy to death. Police found out, but only Capone was blamed. Baseball was not blamed, even though a Louyville slugger was used. Baseball got no bad feelings towards it. So why do people hate paintball, because of piece of equipment was used having to with paintball (the marker)? The truth is, baseball didn't get blamed, because it's a national pasttime in our nation's history. Paintball on the other hand, is way to close to war games and such for many peoples liking (cough-baby boomers/ paranoid moms-cough), so people will find any excuse they can to degrade our sport.

if any one wants to see a sport that is far far closer to real war games, take a look at airsoft. for heck's sake, the guns we use look exactly like real guns.

look at it this way any1 can go to a big chain and buy a talon or sumthin for about 50 bucks and use it to shoot cars
but how many ppl are gonna go to a paintball pro shop and spend 200 bucks plus on a marker just so they can shoot cars

i see your point...but still even if it is only a $50 talon, that may be somones only access to paintball....(if ive got my dates in order) up until a couple years ago it would have been my only access

also some people may not even have $200 to spend ona brand new marker or anything and have to settle for $50 talons (no offense BE fans)
