Halting at a small spot that seemed rich enough with data for quite a while, Thyra panted and threw a quick look behind her. Her body hurted on several places since she had met that odd vague creature; that creature that smiled like some cartoon she remembered... the Cheshire Cat. Yet, she wasn't even sure if the smile was real, it could aswell have been a disruption.
It looked as the vile hacker had stopped pursuiting her, and she let herself down on the abundance of data. It felt like soft wool. Blue colored wool, but wool nontheless. As she took time to rest, her mind wandered trough her memory, digging up the picture of a brown/greenish Hacker.
< Terra... >, she whispered.
Since the collision with nasty software - where all of the four used to be together - she had lost sight of the other three. Each of them had a different element, each of them had been friends.
< We were so much better. No one else had elements like us. Why did it have to happen? Why us? >
She took a bite of the data that made the blueish wool and scratched the progressing wound the 'Cheshire Cat' had brought on her arm.

How had this happened to him? He was an elemental- they had all been elementals, a step above your average hacker. All four of them, they had a supreme reign and then poof! it was gone in a flash. A random trip into some cruddy little shop and a quick run in with some evil cat and then it had all been over. Terra had escaped the creature, a little woozey and feeling a tad... slow, but he had made it. But the others? No where to be seen. While he tried to stay positive (a very difficult feat for him), he knew that chances were they had fallen victim to the virus. Sure, they hadn't always been kind to each other- a lot of them times they acted like rivals, always trying to one up each other- but they had been... friends. His equals and his best friends, and now they were... gone.
And now? Now he had Aiko. Sure, she was entertaining from time to time, but...
The purple and black hacker did a flip- she was always doing flips and rolling over and throwing her arms about- and the headed straight towards her earth companion, bumping into him in a playful manner. Sure, he was usually kind of quiet, but by now he should have said something, even if it was just "STFU"
The bump seemd to bring the male hacker out of his day dream and he gave Aiko a slight shove.
Aiko responded in a cheery manner, which only added to Terra's annoyance. The purple and black hacker did not notice though and quickly scooted off in the opposite direction, looking for something to entertain herself while she waited for Terra to get over his grumpiness, or at least tone it down to a level where he would speak to her.
Wandering a bit, the cyberspace child noted a hacker off in the distance. A little "!" appeared above her head in a speech bubble and she bounced happily,
Terra ignored her, frowning at the name Violetta, Aiko's human companion, had taught Aiko to call him. There was no way he was going to be mistaken as a relative of that lowly creature. Since no one was around, the earth creature let the nickname slide for the time being and just west off a few steps in his own direction to brood in peace.

As she slowly nibbled on the data, she caught something in the distance. It looked like a black dot to her - on it's own nothing interesting - but it created data. Sitting up, she frowned and lifted an eyebrow as she tried to look any better. Alas, the Cheshire's infection troubled her sight from time to time, and just at this moment it faded until such point that the distance vaguely looked like one black line to her
< Curse you... thing. >
She couldn't figure out a name for the viral Hacker, which made her even more frustrated than she already was. Pouting she sat down and nibbled angrily some more on the data of the blueish wool.
< It's just not fair. >, she muttered, scratching the wound some more. < And what's this wound? >
Thyra threw the data she was chewing on away and threw herself in the wool, angrily pulling the data until she calmed down.

Aiko gave a stomp of frustration at the fact Terra was ignoring her, but gave up on him for the time being. Making quick process- her hyperactive disposition gave her decent speed- she was soon close enough to see that the creature in the distance was indeed a hacker... an icy white and blue hacker, to be exact, that appeared to be a young adult.
she asked to no one in particular- since really, there was no one around- while she titled her head to the side a tad, obviously distressed by her young age. While she pondered this, a new thought came into her head- how do you get bigger? She had never really thought of it before... surely there was something she could do to grow, and maybe this bigger person was nice and would tell her! (It was obvious that grump ol' Terra would never tell her the secret.)
Making her way over to the new hacker quickly, Aiko rolled the last few feet towards the her destination, landing with a grin.
Over in the distance, Terra watch the child leave with disdain. Looking over to where the girl had been heading, he could see there actually was something in the distance. But what? Aiko was easily entertained, so just about anything would excite her so there was no guarantee this new something was the lest bit interesting. Still, best he follow her to make it sure it wasn't something that would eat the purple and black creature.
...that didn't mean he was going to hurry though. Moving at a lazy pace, Terra made his way over slowly and had quite a distance to go before he reach Aiko and whatever she had found.

Thyra's eyes shifted to the side where she caught the presence of a black and purple-colored Hacker. Lifting a brow, she sat up and watched it uninterested. It didn't look like any of her friends. Not the same colors, and by far not the same size. Even when it greeted her and said it's name, she stared without interest. At least she learned it was a girl, even if that couldn't pull her out of her miserable infected state.
< Hey. I guess. >, she shrugged. < Whatya need. Aiko? >
She was distant and calm, and really didn't wanted to be bothered by a small Hacker or any other AI that wasn't Terra or another elemental friend.
< And seeming the Cheshire probably ate them all... >, she thought without finishing her personal nightmare.

Aiko announced, holding up her little arms to emphasize her point, not really noticing the new hacker's disinterested attitude.
Aiko bounced a bit while she waited for her answer, hoping the Terra didn't catch up to her why she was asking her question. If he knew she was trying to grow up, he'd definitely make fun of her.
Terra squinted, trying to make out who or what Aiko was talking to. It kind of looked like another hacker, though he couldn't tell for sure from this distance, and it appeared to be white, or maybe light blue.
...or maybe both. Not that it mattered. Even it if it was a white and light blue hacker, that didn't mean anything. It was just a coincidence, that's all. Surely there were plenty of icey colored hackers out there and they weren't all elementals name Thyra that had almost been destroyed- no, had been destroyed- by a virus. (Not that he thought that was what Aiko had found,of course. He was too smart to for that.)
Frown deepening, Terra's agitation grew towards Aiko for almost getting his hopes up. His sluggish pace continued as he headed towards Aiko. While he did want to know what the annoying child had found, he didn't want her to know that.

Her mind was empty, somewhere wandered off inbetween thoughts. Inbetween a maelstrom of thoughts, she caught something about growing up.
< Uhm. I don't know. You just do, I guess. >
Her attention suddenly fluttered over to a distant shading of colors, something that looked like brown and green. For a moment she hoped for Terra, unawarely holding her breath. Then, a few second after, she nudged herself to reality and looked back down.
< Why would it be Terra? >
She looked at the little Hacker in front of her, remembering some answer she gave about growing.
< And why exactly do you want to grow up? >

Aiko responded to the ice hacker's questions, her words appearing slowly as she looked up, thinking about her answer. Once she finished her answer, she looked down, unsure of what to do next. The older hacker said she couldn't help Aiko, so now what?
Terra looked on, continuing towards Aiko and her new companion. The closer he got, the more he swore the new hacker- by now he had deduced it was in fact a hacker- looked familiar. Of course, he had wandered around the net for so long, he had seen lots of hackers, that's why this one looked so familiar. That was all, of course. He shook his head,

Ignoring Aiko's question, she looked into the distance towards the Hacker that approached. She rememberd how the small Hacker talked about her big brother 'Earthy', however that was. Could he be the one that was nearing now? Then why did he resemble Terra so well from afar?
< Who's that Earthy you speak off? >
She absently scratched the infection on her arm as she eyed the child in front of her.

Aiko replied, slightly curious to the hacker's question about her brother. What did Earthy matter? He had nothing to do with growing up! ...did he? < o.o? >
Terra found himself moving rather quickly now- he knew he really shouldn't get his hopes up, it was silly to think that another one of them had survived the Cheshire. Still, the other hacker next to Aiko looked more and more like her as he got closer...
<...it better be.> He though to himself, Yes it was true. Even in moments of heart warming reunion, Terra still found ways to be pessimistic.

< So you all live in a computer or something? >
Usually she wouldn't bother to talk to small fry as Aiko, but she was in no mood to be herself. She was too down and in pain at this moment to care who bored her or sticked with her. Her eyes, however, didn't seem to be able to let go off the figure in the distant. The colors slowly looked less vague, the contours of the figure being sharper. Then, she heared her name.
< Terra...? >
She held her breath without realising while her eyes widened, time suddenly seemed to hold for a while as she slowly analyzed the voice that had said her name. It sounded like Terra's, but maybe the Cheshire's illness influenced her hearing too... but then, the stranger - who oddly looked more and more like Terra - also knew her name.
< Terra... TERRA?! >
A large speechbubble appeared as she yelled back.
< If that isn't Terra, sick or not, I'm so going to mess up his entire binary system so badly that its eyes will be sticking to its butt stare >
Yet, she couldn't hold herself from smiling with the new hope momentarily taking away her dark thoughts.
