Veive's dress trailed after her as she moved through the woods slowly. She had been leaving Ice alone lately (technically, she had been running away but she didn't want to call it that in her mind) and wandering further and further away from their home. She hated the comfort and protection that Ice seemed to offer sometimes when her troublesome thoughts starts to bother her and she felt that alone time was what she really needed every now and then. Ice always worried, and Veive always felt a little bad about that, but not bad enough to stop wandering away.
Today wasn't much different. They had gone for a walk...Ice had been distracted...Veive had slipped away. She had heard that girls her age were prone to rebellion or something called 'angst' but she doubted it was either of those. Pushing her way forward, she could see buildings ahead and heard the same sounds as she had heard when Ice had taken her for one of those 'cheeseburger' things. Had she really wandered far enough to be near the city?!

[I'm not sure where I can fit Evelyn and Ocean into this because they moved to an apartment complex in the city, this way Ocean could be closer to her mom. So... The Woods... Umm.. o.o;;]

Ocean had taken Evelyn out for an ice cream cone, it was midday and the streets were paved with pedestrians, fashionistas, and an average amount of traffic.
Evelyn stared at her soft served vanilla, contemplating on whether or not she should delicately lick it, or completely devour it. Before she could even make a decision, she had collided shoulders with someone and nearly dropped it.
She turned to face the other person couldn't seem to manage an apology. She kept staring at the grey ears that dawned the girl's head..

Veive looked like a deer caught in the headlights as she wandered into the street, and none too gently collided with someone. Turning with a startled expression on her face, she stopped and stared at the girl in front of her, ears twitching. She looked so familiar...and was obviously not like these other people that were staring at her clothes and kitsune bits. An illusion, but a familiar one....

Evelyn shook her a couple times and blinked several times before she realized that she should probably apologize.
"I'm sorry about that," she stuttered as her wings fluttered a bit behind her.

Veive shook her head as she began to recover. "No, it's okay. Was probably my fault." She said, trying to regain her composure. Tilting her head to the side she twitched her ears in curiosity at the girl and furrowed her brow. She did know this girl! But what was her name? Elaine? Elysse? Elle? Eve? Ev...
"Evelyn?" She asked cautiously.
