I just got in after my midterm and sat down to mess around here on gaia, and I heard this weird noise. I look over at my roommate's laptop, and it like...turned itself on or something. Super ******** creepy. Was not expecting that at all. I'm not going anywhere near it.

Maybe she has it on a timer or something.
I'm sure it could be something technological rather than paranormal though. ^^; Electronics do weird s**t they're not meant to do all the time.

Yeah, maybe. I just don't know why it'd turn on at that time when I know she's not going to be there.
Then again her computer has Windows Vista on it. She has a looooot of trouble with her computer. I'm kind of afraid to get a new laptop if it means Vista will be slapped onto it.
I mean, if I ever do get a new laptop. XD

I think they stopped making Vista and now it's Window's 7 or 8 or something.
I dunno, I have Vista and haven't had much happen. My movie maker is really ******** up and I basically can't use it, but that's about the only issue I've had with my laptop.
Then again I'm used to super shitty computers, so anything that's better than the other one seems good to me.

Vista doesn't give me much trouble. There have only been a couple of minor problems with it (besides not getting to play Halo on it. D<)

Yeah, I think most computers come with Windows 7 now. I haven't gotten to use that much at all. crying I know Tomato likes it, though.
I don't mind Vista much either, it just gets annoying with the constant confirmation things ("Are you sure you want to do this??")
Anime - After my first hamster died we used to hear his wheel at night for a while o-o I don't think the hamster I had a few years ago has ever come around, though.

Aw man I forgot about this tread. O:
Well lets see... This happened a while back and I don't think I shared it with anyone... But one night my brother was watching tv in my room and I came in with the fatass cat Oliver.
So I was just playing with him and he was trying to open the door. Oliver almost got it open by a few inches, and Joey was saying something, when suddenly the door slammed!
It made the cat and I jump back! Since I was sitting on my computer chair. Joey opened the door and looked out to see if it was Jr that slammed it. But My little brother was playing his game and was laying down. It wasn't my parents either cause they were asleep and their door was closed.
Also I told my brother it couldn't be anyone cause you would have heard them walking to and away from the door. So we have no idea why that happened. The only thing similar to ever that happening, was when I was on the phone with my friend, and my parents room door opened. I closed it back and watched it, saw the door knob turn and open itself again.
Now I'm thinking there is something in the house. But so far it hasn't really done anything besides opening and slamming doors. O:

*is way late to the party on this thread*
The freakiest thing about Hope's story is seeing the handle actually turn. It could have been a breeze or something if the door just swung open but... O_O
This isn't exactly paranormal but it's still weird. When I was driving home on Friday, the car's "check engine" light went on. Again. -_- The car didn't drive funny or anything but I thought we were still gonna have to get it checked out again.
That night I drove it a short distance to DQ--the light was still on--and when I got to DQ, i turned off both the car and my ipod shuffle that I was listening to. When I turned the car back on, the check engine light was off, and my ipod was playing an Emilie Autumn song that had definitely not been playing when I turned it off.
So I'm pretty sure EA fixed my car! biggrin
