Personality: Due to the heart break in his life, Alsvid is quite distant and cold to others. He prefers to become engrossed in himself but still subconsciously searches for another immortal he can be with. He is arrogant and self-indulgent. He loves to toy with the emotions and minds of others.
Bio: Born in the Bretagne region of France Alsvid quickly grew to hate country life. He ran away to Paris and worked as a street performer, playing violin, singing and occasionally acting. From Paris he moved to London where he slept in a loft. One night he was visited by a powerful vampire who had seen him perform. They talked for hours and the vampire told Alsvid all about his life. He had lived for over three thousand years and witnessed most of the important events in history. Alsvid became intrigued and insisted that he should be turned into a vampire. When Alsvid awoke after being turned he saw that his creator was gone. He didn’t even know his name.
A vampire since twenty three, he has always enjoyed the night life; parties, women and, of course, feeding. He lived a life of utter indulgence caring only for himself. At lest, this was how it seemed.
For almost fifty years after the last remaining member of his family died he had lost the will to hunt. He could not bring himself to feed on humans as he could not bear the thought of making others suffer the terrible pain of loss as he had. So he spent his years drinking the blood of animals and avoiding nearly all contact with other people, except for the occasional party.
After a recent party, at which he fed on a young girl, Alsvid has returned to his old ways. He takes great pleasure in toying with his victims and turning the hunt into a game.
Powers: Alsvid is physically superior to humans. Like all vampires he possess great strength, speed and agility. As a vampire he has incredibly heightened senses. The dark gift manifests differently in all vampires. Alsvid has the ability to read and manipulate minds. He can force people to bend to his will or even fall hopelessly in love with him. This power is ineffective against other creatures of the night and some strong willed humans. Due to the age and power of his creator Alsvid is more powerful than most vampires his age.
