Well, I suppose if we want to encourage guild activity it doesn't hurt to start thinking about the next November fifth. If we decide to do something that requires some fund raising for gold and items (maybe for a costume charity again) then that might be something we want done before we get into advertising the event.

Good idea Terra! I think I will make a list of the members and start PMing them. Too bad you can't do "mass mailings". I know it's not "my" guild, but this was some of the most fun I've had on Gaia and I'd like to keep it going!

Well, I started my pm project, mailing the following message to the mods:
Sent this message to Guy Fawkes Himself:
Hi! Are you planning to keep the guild alive for next 11/5? I hope so, because the last V celebration was the most fun I've had on Gaia.
I talked to Terra a bit in a guild thread, and she had the idea to start amassing funds for the costume charity. I'm willing to donate some of my WordBump winnings (which is how I usually make my gold on the site).
First I'm going to pm the guild mods, then start a list of the regular folks and start pming them too.
Gee, I hope you come on soon & read this! xp
AND, as one of the guild mods, you're next on my list!
(GFH did not get that last AND line, btw.)
That was a pain, even with cut&paste! Now to start making a list of the guild members to send them a pm-prod.

I guess I will title my pms to the hoi polloi of the guild with *words* blaugh (I number myself among that rabble, mind, so the use of that term is *not* derogatory!) whee BTW I love it when people use that word, "kudos". It's just one of my favorites!

Now to start making a list of the guild members to send them a pm-prod. alright theres ppl in here!!!!!! i dunno ur method 4 pming ppl but wat i do in my guild is i open the guild members list then open another window to my mailbox & copy paste the message into notepad, then use notepad to copy the message & the members list to paste the names. it does go faster. ur allowed to send a new message once every 60 seconds.
