Its just like all the other wars, one side is saying that what they're doing is just and the other is doing the same thing. In my opinion they should have stopped when the coordinators moved into colonies. They won't cause any trouble to the people on earth and the space armada can keep an eye on them if they try to invade earth from above. twisted

I think the wars stupid they should have talked it out before anyone was killed
people who couldnt listen to reason went and killed lots of people and in return a huge a** war started. The colonies where a good idea anyway the Naturals felt inferior at least in my opinion.

I think the war is pointless. It's because of that war that my favorite charactor, Shin Auska, lost the love of his life, Stella. Just because coordinators happen to be better at doing some things doesn't make them any less human. They have strengths and weeknesses, just like the Naturals do. At least, that's my oppinion.

naturals hate the coordinators for being better and coordinators hate the naturals cause they're inferior..or something. I don't understand why the naturals hate coordinators or their technology, you'd think they'd think it's a good thing, that maybe their children could do more and the world would become a better place.

I think the war is completely or almost completely run on false hatred. It's started by greedy, selfish people who just want money from producing machines and weapons. I think the only ones who really hate the Coordinators are the ones who started the war in the first place. The people are just too easily influenced. They think that because they're Naturals or Coordinators that they have to hate the other. But false hatred also gives birth to real hatred. The more they fight against each other, the more they begin to actually hate the other side. Because they've lost family, friends, comrades, etc. they want revenge for that lost person (ie Shinn in Destiny). But if they would just take time out to actually try to understand the other side, they'll realize that it was all stupid. That there was no need for the war, no need for all those sacrifices, no need for any of it. They never really hated each other and that it was just a huge misunderstanding.
Here's a quote from the preview of Episode 9 that I think fits well: "Wars are started in the name of protection. But why do it if everyone knows that war is never the answer?"
Wow, I wasnt expecting to write all that. It all just flowed into my head.
Well, that's what I think about the whole thing!

Strangely enough, if you analyze the viewpoints of the soldiers on both sides of the wars, not counting the clyne faction (3 ship alliance) or the orb union, they can technically fall into the range of the just-war theory, which involves complicated ideas about whether or not the gains from the war would outweigh the losses, whether or not the war would be fought for an ultimate good, such as ousting a dictator or world leader who sought the destruction of the other side completely, and other factors. I will dig through my notes from philosophy and post the just-war theory here.

War starts when people fear or missunderstand things. I'm sure that people freared the first coordanator becuase he was better then everyone else also genectic experamenting was Ileagal at the time. when the information got out on how to get thier unborn cchildren to be coordanator parent naturally wanting what they thought best for thier children, made them into corrdanators. then some of the childeren who weren't coordanators probly got Jealous . and jealousy leads to hatred and thats probly what started blue cosmos and the war. the reason probly changed as time went on as more and more loved ones were lost and more extreme people came into power. by then people just sot to end the war becase they understood both sides of it and that everyone feels the same.
but life is a visous cycle
