Let's try this again;
The Dead and Dying of Oslo’s Hill
Probably the only vampiric RP I’ll ever make.
The Setting;
Oslo’s Hill is in the Carpathian Mountains, though the country it’s in is unknown. The Manor Matayana, the home of the clan, sits atop the forested mount called Oslo’s Hill, the Manor is huge, with fifty rooms in each wing (east wing and west wing), and the middle consists of 2 kitchens, a dining hall, a ballroom, a courtyard, library, and Chapel. The manor has a wine cellar that opens into a long hall, which itself leads to the Crypt and Catacombs, a place where defective vampires, cattle, and enemies are held. The style of this manor is mixed, and shown throughout, from Gothic, to Tudor, to Victorian (depending on when it was rebuilt). The grounds consist of two servants houses, which have since been turned into more suitable accommodations for the clan (a tavern and an artist’s studio). It also has a graveyard, which is just simply that, a place for the dead, complete with three mausoleums, an angel statue, and the ruins of an old off-building chapel. The perimeter wall surrounds the massive Oslo’s Hill at the bottom, and no discernable road leads to the North Gate, which is guarded by vampires, and familiars during the day. The forest the Manor is situated in is tall, and as it is currently winter, barren, the snowfall has been good this year, and the ground is positively covered.
This is a modern time fantasy, which means that there are computers, and electricity in the manor; also, everything else in the world is where it should be.

The Lore;
The Clan Vamphyr
One of the Original Clans of the Carpathian Mountains, it can trace its origins back to Grecian times, when barbarians had ruled the Slavic lands. The founder of the clan was a vampire from the land currently called Russia; his name has been lost in the fabric of time, as well as most of his history. Vamphyr has no restriction on who enters, so long as they are a vampire or a current vampire’s familiar. The clan has many outposts in other lands, but as this is their headquarters, many vampires hesitate to be away from it. The symbol of the clan is simple, a black crucifix on a red background.
The Rival Clan, Todesleben
Another of the original Carpathian Clans, this one has bourn Dracula, and thus is proud and distinct, owning the hatred of the clan Vamphyr. It tries its hardest to undo the bidding of the Vamphyr’s and is heady competition when it comes to battles amongst the clans. Their symbol is the banner Dracula had in battle.
Other enemies of the Clan:
Viral Werewolves: Just to dispel some popular beliefs here, not all werewolves are viral, there are such things as moonwolves and bloodwolves, these two are NOT enemies of vampire clans unless they make themselves as such. Viral werewolves, those who can turn others into werewolves simply by biting them or sharing blood, are the mortal enemies of the vampires because they share the same strain of virus that has been inflicted on the vampires. However, viral werewolves are normally insane, and have two times the strength of a normal vampire, so they are hard to take down. If either were to taste the other’s blood, they would face death in the form of conflicting and painful mutations. Viral werewolves are mostly found in forests, meandering about mumbling until they change. Vampire Hunters: “Mortals” who have taken as their cause to hunt and destroy the cursed bloodsuckers. More often than not, these hunters prove to be more than a challenge to new vampires, but the older and more experienced ones can easily dispatch at least three vampire hunters in a row before being taken down by the fourth. Vampire hunters are plentiful in cities and some outward villages. The Shadow Thief: A single man of deadly proportions, he is the master of all shadows and is said, in lore, to be able to eat your soul. He’s a thief of many, many artifacts and will kill without mercy. In fact, he only laughs when you beg, he is the closest thing to true evil vampires (and werewolves alike) consider. He won’t make an appearance unless something extraordinarily valuable is acquired, and he has stolen the Clan’s history and their Tome of the Mist (a catalogue of all the vampires ever enrolled in the clan up to the day it was stolen).

A Plot: This is where you, the wonderful roleplayers of this guild come in. This roleplay will be largely based on improvisation, and whatever my whims decide to torture or treasure you with.
However: For the basis, the clan is in troubled times, the members are at a low, and they are seeking new recruits in an act to deny the rival clan of their claim to overtake the manor. On top of that, the Hunt, a yearly worldwide search for the destruction of viral werewolves (participated in by bloodwolves, moonwolves, werewolf hunters, and vampires alike), is about to begin, and the clan is searching feverously to find more experienced vampires to participate on their side so as not to lose to the Todesleben.
Playable Characters: Positions that need to be filled are as such, and the quantity needed/accepted, state in the profile your positioning request, depending on how something’s filled, I will give you it or direct you elsewhere. (In order of decreasing importance to the clan) They’re basically ranks.
Matriarch (1) Patriarch (1) Elders (3/5) Oldbloods (4/00) Hunters (4/00) Neophytes (00)
The position of Familiars must state who their master is, and their alleged master can either accept or deny having them as a familiar, I have no power over this. Familiars may also be played by their master characters, meaning that you can be a vampire and a familiar at the same time.

Rules, Restrictions, and Explanations. (In order of what I feel to be important)
Powers: Vampires are –not- repeat –not- all-powerful, their strength is limited and they can only come out at night. They have no power to transform into bats or mist. Vampires do have the power to change into ugly wolfen creatures; this is because, as stated above, they share the same strain of virus as that of the Viral Werewolves. In this form the only thing that rises is the vampire’s sensory perception, not strength, this form is usually brought on by rage, and any vampire can do it. Vampires also possess a bit of control over minds and willpower, but they cannot affect themselves or other vampires. They do show up in mirrors, they do show up in photos, all a vampire really is is a human with a hell of a disease. Hidden Powers: These you can decide for yourself, after all, what’s a fantasy world without magic? The only limit here is that they cannot be all-powerful. You must tell me what this is, and it will not be put in your public profile. Ages: Vampires are able to live for 500 years (after infection) before they start decomposing, vampires can live up to 600 years before they are finally turned into ash. Elders are normally around the ages of 510 to 560 years. Matriarchs and Patriarchs only get where they are by use of power, so they can be any age after infection. Please state in your profiles the age they were when infected, and their age after infection.
Death: Unless the RP gains enough momentum, there’s no need to talk about this, but I will anyway. A character cannot be killed without owner’s consent, unless I order it to be so, there will be sabotage, there will be murder, there will be death, however the owner of the dead character can comeback as a fresh young vampire and work up. This is also a trump card if you don’t like the way your character is going, just kill them somehow, but remember, this isn’t some silly game, when you die you’re dead, no resurrection, no rescripting, no run back from the graveyard. You start out as a Neophyte and rise through the ranks. Please alert me when a character has died, so that I may delete and/or state in the profile their death.
Ranks: Matriarchs and Patriarchs will be able to decide whom to promote, and if necessary, demote. They are able to set the standards and the guidelines for said promotions, the only thing they ARE NOT able to do is kick you out of the clan. I hold full power over this, though you must remember that you, as a member of the clan, are LOYAL to it, which means that you shouldn’t go upsetting them anyway. Elders cannot be demoted or promoted, as they are the “advisors” of the clan and are good for little else, being in the last stages of life.
Genre: I never stated the Genre of this RP, technically because this is a do-it-yourself sort of thing. The setting is enough to cater to almost every genre, and the storyline is also, there’s a “torture chamber” for those who like to torture and kill, there’s a “dungeon” where horror and survival can come into play, (sending wayward vampires to survive in the Catacombs where the defective and insane vampires are held is usually good enough punishment…if you survive), the whole setting is great for those who are more into gothic, the grounds are awesome for dark or normal romance, there’s a place to be silly and there’s a place for general roleplaying. Any off-ground roleplaying may be put in the main thread only if it pertains to the roleplay, meaning that if the matriarch, patriarch, elder, or oldblood gives you a command to go get something so-n-so, it’s fine, but otherwise keep it to the pms or make your own thread.
Roleplaying Level: This is a fun one, the Matriarch, Patriarch, and Elders, MUST, abso-friggin-lutely MUST be literate Roleplaying Veterans, in order to hold those positions, you have got to know what you are doing, which means, more often-than-not, conferring with each other and me without the whole knowing. Oldbloods and Hunters can be played by intermediate roleplayers, as they are the minions. Neophytes and Familiars are open to everyone, as this roleplay can teach them hands-on basics of roleplaying, it can also improve their skills. Everybody must interact with everybody, if someone’s character does something, no matter how stupid or in-the-way it gets, your character must respond. We all need to learn a little patience, cause everybody’s lacking nowadays.
The General Rules: -Gaia ToS -No sex, but hey, I can’t say anything about PMs… -You may piss off other characters, but only if it is consensual (pm someone that you’re about to do something their character might not like) -You may not piss off me, without consequence. -There is no spoon.

Oh Wait…Me. That’s right folks, nowhere in here did I say what exactly I was doing. I am, for all practical purposes, the rest of the world, I can do whatever I want, so long as I deem it fit to be so, I provide changes in seasons, battles with other clans, random attacks, and I control the shadow thief. That’s my role in the roleplay.
Profiles are to be sent to me to be approved or denied of the position they’re applying for, I hold sole power of bumping people out of the roleplay, and I will find some cheesy, stupid, infuriating way to kill off your character and kick you from it, though I’ll tell you this right now, it takes a lot to try my patience, so expect to be blacklisted should you ever get in this position. I am also the sole creator of progressive storyline, which means that if the Matriarch and Patriarch need ideas, they can come to me, if people need something to do, they come to me, I’m available by PMs.

I demand (!) that there may in fact (!) be a spoon!!!
It seems great, you do leave some to be desired in the way of this virus thing, and I was unsuccessful in finding Dracula's banner. But other than those it's great.
