zomg guys. I don't know if this is where to ask. I don't want to ask life issues... cause I find its full of troll and young kids who don't know anything (and I don't mean just teens, I mean teens who act like children).
Here is my problem: Sex, all of a sudden, hurts like hell. Well, it always hurts me for the first 4-5 minutes, but after that its a free run. Now, however, it takes like half an hour to feel good. I am talking about heteosexual p***s to v****a sex.
More Info: I've recently stopped taking my anti-depressants, and I wonder if its a side effect. Due to the pain, my craving for v****a sex is at a halt. I'll be lubricated (as in my own, but its usually a ********' lot) and very horny... but once the p***s goes in and the pain doesn't stop... I obviously lose my craving. It doesn't feel like dry sex... its like a burning sensation.
I feel like I am letting my boyfriend down. Because, while I love giving oral sex and he likes receiving, we both enjoy vaginal sex. Atleast I did at one point.
Any ideas? I am thinking of seeing my gyno. Anything said above was said for the lulz.

Well, describing it as a 'burning' sensation immediately brings to mind STI's. I obviously don't know either you or your boyfriend, but you could consider that a possibility. Although, if you have a poor diet it could just be a urinary tract infection, which apparently causes sex to be painful.

My discharge is as it should be. And I don't smell anything wrong with myself. He is my 2nd partner and I am like his 7th. His number is pretty high. >> It would suck if this entire year we've been dating, nao someone gets an STD.
Pray to your gods this isn't it.
But thanks for the idea. I am going to talk to my gyno, and it would be nice to have an idea of what it might be. Anything said above was said for the lulz.

Definitely see your gynocologist- sounds like you could have some kind of inflammatory pelvic problem or something. If you guys are using condoms, you might also want to check for a latex sensitivity. Your doctor'll know.
The going off your antidepressants probably won't cause pain, but it's not unusual for seratonin levels to determine drive, or cause feelings of unexplained saddness during sex. You might want to mention that to your doctor, too.

Sorry, I saw it and had to take it. X:

Girl, GO SEE YOUR GYN!!!! It is not normal for sex to hurt! I've heard of it happening when a psychotropic is started, but not when it's DC'd. If I were you, I would get tested for STD's and insist that my boyfriend does too!!! On the off chance that you do have something, it's better to n** it in the bud, so to speak... Sorry you're going through this and good luck to you. Also, sorry if it's weird for me to be answering this as we've never spoken before.

i think you should really see your gyno. its the only time you will know the real problem. you havnt mention anything about an emotional problem that could hinder you from enjoying sex... so maybe its more of the physical.
just dont be afraid to visit a gyno.

Since it isn't the matter of dry sex, I really can't think of any other reason except for something that needs some medication to help.
Maybe there's some sort of irritation inside, yes? It really also depends on how often you do it and in what manner, but we really can't get into that here.
Best thing would be seeing the gyno. 3nodding

Any ideas? I am thinking of seeing my gyno. Anything said above was said for the lulz. First of all, you didn`t gave much information, but I`ll try to give you some possibilities. Where does it hurt? Outside, inside, or at the botton? It hurts when you do sex with or without condoms or either way? did your fluids changed collor (white, yellow, green)? Does it smell? Does your boyfriend know that you are in pain? That can have 2 directions: STD (more probable, due to the picture you described) - Those things are more troublesome and painful to women... it is said, but true. We suffer a lot more in life... crying You can have "candidiasis". Don`t worry, it can be fixed, but you AND your boyfriend will have to go under some medication. That happens from many ways, for exemple, durty water. The fact that he had more sexual partners in life isn`t a problem, but can be a reason to your infection. Is your boyfriend circuncized? I mean, because boys that aren`t have a lot more chance to devellop STDs. And some of them they won`t even notice that need treatment. It isn`t just to keep his 'junior' clean, but well dryed after shower. ALL OF IT! Sex without protection, can be a reason for your infection, and once you are infected, you both can be reinfected if you don't do it toghether at the same time. Go to your gynocologist, she/he can explain better, AND GO WITH your boyfriend, talk to him that you want his companion, he can`t refuse if you ask kindly... ^^ And drink much water. The majority of the urinay infections can be avoided by drinking lots of water. The second direction: Maybe you are horny, but not horny enouth yet, see? Maybe it isn`t "the moment" yet. Maybe it is the condom. try change the laboratory. There is one that no matter how moist I am, the momment that it gets on me, I get dryed. I don`t think that your anti-depressive could be the reason for you to be in pain.... Anyway, talk about that with your doctor. Good look with your problem.

Hey there *wave*
Well to me it sounds like some mild STI. Although a condom and extra water-based lube wouldn't go a miss for now. Oil based lubes dry, where as water based lubes work with body secretions. Technique also could be involved... start slow and work up? I'm a little different, granted, but I find that for me doesn't hurt so much, and from my medical knowledge this can be applied to ladies too.
It might be an idea to go to a GUM clinic or to see your GP just for a checkup. There might be other symptoms, like does it burn to pee, is it itchy, or that you may have sensitive skin in the v****a and the contact of a guy up there can cause a mild allergic reaction. Other diagnoses put forward here of Thrush or Candidiasis, are less likely, but could be a possibility. If you were to get checked out, ask your guy too. It is kind of a recommended thing to get checked once in every six month and every time you change partner. And as for you medication, very very unlikely. Antidepressants work on nerve synapses and never on pain neurones because they are noradrenaline based rather than seratonin (which the majority of antidepressants work on)
Werty-kun: UTIs can be made worse if you drink more water, because the bacteria has a chance of reaching further up the ureter and to damage the kidney causing pilonephritis. Cranberry juice is always good.

Just thought I'd post this to bring the thread back to the attention of the OP. I was just wondering if you've sorted your problem out. Is everything alright down there?
