In life we know people who are fakes and who seem to be putting on a mask or fake smile. Well same goes for Christians. Some who claim to be Christians do much worse things then those who are non-Christian and they seem to try and justify their blasphimous actions through the bible. I don't understand how they can do this. For example denying God infront of their friends. Some of my Christian friends have done this and they try to justify this, but when someone else does it, that person is a sinner.

Of course! The thing many Christians mistakingly believe is, that because they are Christians, that they are automatically superior to all other people... In truth though, we are still in every way as equal to any other soul, from Hitler or Stalin to even one of God's chosen prophets! We all have different perspectives in life that can modify our very thoughts and actions. Just pray for God to shift their perspectives in a way that God sees as right in his eyes. Don't change them by your own force though, peoples perspectives are all innately made to resist any change from anything outside themselves, Including God. Even if you give good reasons that show that he/she is wrong, their minds will just make up lies to themselves. Only God can change them, but it is also possible for them to choose to change their own views. But this can be very rare. In truth though, we are all sinners, Christian or not, the only difference is we are forgiven by God (If you are a TRUE Christian, both actions and motives speak LOUDER then mere words or statements).

Winter_Equinox thank you for that i pray for those people everyday. It will take more than praying to change someone become a leader, lead by example and inspire the hearts of your fellow man

lordstar It will take more than praying to change someone become a leader, lead by example and inspire the hearts of your fellow man Leading by example can be a very powerful message, but the hearts of everyone are all innately sinful(as said directly in the Bible) from birth to death. You have to inspire their very souls to change someone. Only two people can inspire a soul, and that is themselves and/or God/Jesus. Praying helps by asking God for assistants in changing their own perspective in life (not their souls directly though, as free will plays that part in their own making[unless they themselves ask God to change their souls]). Winter_Equinox thank you for that i pray for those people everyday. Your very welcome! biggrin I want to be apart of this guild and interact with everyone, but they still haven't given me the letter to enlist me. sad

I understand to be a leader, but I know I cannot take God's place to change them. I try not to control or force any of my beliefs upon people, because this is not respectable. But I'll try to be an example to those.

lordstar I think your being unfair to yourself and putting limits on what a person can accomplish Anyone can inspire there is nothing more required but some good words of encouragement I spoke of inspiring a person (I'll concede the heart if you concede the soul) and there is not force involved True, it does sound like I'm limiting myself and others, sorry for that. sweatdrop I was trying to show in detail why having faith and hope in God is so important. But I did overdo it. I just never liked the idea of being considered a leader to someone your trying to lead to God. A mentor, yes; a coach for life, maybe; a role model, possibly; but in my mind, a leader, no. I personally think it is for the individual to decide whether to Love God and others. That is why we are here, right? To sample evil in all its forms, to sample how Love can change lives, and have the knowledge to know the difference. Then choose our meanings for why we want to live, whether it be with God, or someone or something else. Sorry for maybe sounding a little too philosophical there. xp

Many times my friends and I will finish a project and have people come and ask us how to get involved and we give them a point in the right direction and a little push and off they go.
