Alright, so I joined the guild today and I've been perusing the guild forums to get the gist of what exactly goes down in this "community". One of my first stops happened to be here in the music forums. As much as I would love to talk about how I love music with everyone I can't. Why? You ask. Well I don't listen to music per say, I read. Of course there are a few select songs which I enjoy listening to now and then but for the most part I prefer silence. My mother bought me and Ipod Nano a few months back and I only have a total of 7 hours and 44 minutes of time listening to it. I've charged it like twice since i got it. Currently it is here next to my computer weighing down some notes, it works well.
Don't get me wrong it's not that I hate music I simply have a different preference when it comes to this area. Most of my musical knowledge comes from Guitar Hero II & III, yah I know that's a little sad but that's the point. Everyone I know seems to love music, society in general loves music. Is it sad that I don't know band names or songs? Is there something wrong with me?
The reason why I bring this to you is because I need an unbiased group to judge me in this area. You need not know me personally to have an accurate opinion about me. I know this is probably a topic more suited for Extended Discussion but whatever I thought this forum could use some activity.

Nothing wrong with you, my fiance has this thing with the music on those games, he says they're better then the crap I listen to, and he prefers that over the media messaged music of today. Alliteration on my part.

Well at least I'm not the only one 'per say' I simply found it odd that I have no fascination with it whatsoever. What's more disturbing is that I can't seem to grasp why others enjoy it. When I see people wooing over their favorite singer or band it just seems odd to me. It's the equivalent of someone being fascinated by shiny objects, I just can't make the connection. eek "Oh that's shiny" confused "What?"***************************** xd "Do you like that band?" sweatdrop "Que?"Side note: I love allusion. I allude to people everyday in casual conversation. The reason being is that by alluding to a person I can show contrast with my own life compared to the person to whom I am alluding and thus the person who I am conversing with can see how much of a better life I have. It essentially 1-ups myself. My Ego is... That big.
