I got stuck on my National Novel Writing Month story so I took a risk, scratched it and am starting over. I have so many ideas for stories I thought it would be good to combine them into a story about a girl who loves to tell stories. It would be a collection of short stories and I could easily expand it or keep it simple once the contest is over. Depending on if I like the story or not. What do you think? Believe it or not, I got the idea from watching Wishbone.

There are a lot of good stories about story-tellers and such! I think it is a great idea!

That sounds very interesting. Would it be sort of like 1001 Nights, or more like the character sees something and makes up a story about it? However you go about writing this, I agree with wackobunny that you should post at least some of it here.

I remember writing a story about a bard.It came out pretty good since the short stories always give the people something new and exiting to keep their intrest.Still be carefull that you dont overstep it and that the people still fell its the same story when you return to the girls point of view.Other than that good luck with it.
